Wasn't there some kind of argument going on between Todd Phillips and the studio? I remember reading something about Todd being ticked off about the promotion of Eurotrip? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? I thought that that was what the snag was all about.

I thought that that was what the snag was all about. Beth Yep Beth, you're right. I remembered reading same thing about Eurotrip. Here's an excerpt from an interview with the director, Todd Phillips (who also directed Starsky & Hutch): What about Old School 2? No, we’re not going to do Old School 2. Why not? I had a little falling-out with Dreamworks off of this movie Eurotrip. I felt like they really marketed it off of my two movies, even though I had nothing to do with it and it just looked like the worst movie ever. But somehow I got dragged into it and it made me crazy. And I said, “If you do this, I won’t do Old School 2.” And they said, “Well, this is business. We’ve got to worry about this movie right now.” It actually has pretty much the exact same plot as Road Trip. I was going to ask how you felt about that? I don’t even want to talk about it. I didn’t see it, I won’t see it and it kind of pissed me off. So, that’s why I won’t do business with them. It’s a bummer. Here's a link to the entire article: actionadventure.about.com/cs/weeklystories/a/aa030104_2.htm

Thanks Ozarka. I knew I'd read it somewhere. It's good to know I'm not crazy-well, not too crazy. That's a shame about no Old School 2-I remember Todd being pretty angry about it and this article definitely makes him sound pretty ticked off about the whole thing-I don't blame him. Beth

Oh, I totally agree. I love the scene in the kitchen with Mitch and Nicole. I also love the scene with Luke holding Max's hand at the birthday party. There's just something about a sexy man and a child! You are so right! There is something so sexy about a man with a kid. I think it's just the fact that we're imagining him with OUR kid. I know I wouldn't mind seeing that!! Him, holding our kid, while he/she sleeps on his chest.....

Poor Luke all groggy. This is from a University journalist student -- with the obligatory jaded, unimpressed with everything -- style of writing. Click on image:

I love this description of them. Sounds like 3 guys who are sick to death of promoting their film and answering the same questions over and over again but know that they have to do it anyway...... Thanks Librarian! Beth
