Hi NedsBeauty; nice to see you posting again yeah Old School is hilarious, isn't it? very silly but funny - I like movies like that lol as well as more serious ones! I kind of felt the same Remi, I wasn't sure beforehand if I'd enjoy it or not, thought it might be a bit obnoxious I think but it wasn't really...

"From the Defamer Files - hehe You're Placing Me Under Arrest Because There Hasn't Been An 'Old School 2' Yet?" From Defamer While out enjoying coffee in Santa Monica, Bottle Rocket star Luke Wilson was accosted by the west side police department. The police officers ran the good cop/bad cop routine on Wilson about the status of a sequel to the 2003 comedy Old School. Wilson attempted to explain the development process to the officers and how they need to come up with a great script and way to figure out everybody's schedules. Even more difficult, he explained, was finding a budget number that would meet everyone's quote. The officers seemed stunned to hear about how much work would go into making another film. One officer said, "You mean, this script just doesn't say, 'Will walks in and says something funny, then like Vince Vaughn says something even more funny and you just make a funny face'?" Wilson shrugged his shoulders and said, "I wouldn't be surprised if some are written that way." Photo Credit: Splash Pics www.vince-vaughn.com/

I know I'm really behind the times as usual, but I just watched this. I honestly didn't expect to like it at all, I'm not a big fan of Will Ferrell for starters, and from the premise of the movie I was a little uncertain whether it would be my kind of thing (I just seem to be getting more and more addicted to all the Wilson boys, and couldn't resist a 99p DVD!) but it made me laugh much more than I expected and had some nice moments in it too so I was pleasantly surprised. Thought Luke was great in it - Mitch is such a sweetie. And on a totally shallow note, along with the adorable messy-and-tired look, I have to say the covered-in-KY-jelly look was... erm... well, there are no words

Yeah, the KY look! I also like the part at the beginning where Luke keeps setting off the metal detectors at the airport. And with every attempt, Security gets heavier and heavier armed!

" Luke Wilson Talks ‘Anchorman 2 and ‘Old School 2
Luke Wilson wants to ge re-armed for “Anchorman 2? and is hoping for an “Old School” sequel. (Me too!)Tuesday, April 3, 2012 Luke Wilson doing press for his new movie Meeting Evil and the topic of Anchorman 2 came up during an interview with IFC. The Anchorman alum said, “Somebody just told me [about the sequel] last week I didn’t know about it, but I’d love to do it. But then I remembered, ‘Oh yeah, I lost both my arms in the last one. So who knows? I hope they bring me back.” Wilson was not unrealistic about his limited chances of appearing in the sequel, even after waxing poetic about the talent assembled for the Anchorman Rumble scene where he appeared. “Will and Adam [McKay] are so funny that hopefully they write me in there. I might have to remind them”, the actor laughed. Personally, I think Frank Vitchard’s story was basically finished in the first Anchorman. And inclusion in Anchorman 2 would really smack of stunt-casting. Though our Senior Editor Rick Duran told me he thought it would be funny to see Owen Wilson playing the arms of the character in the sequel. Wilson also discussed the very remote possibilities of a sequel to Old School, noting that The Hangover basically was developed when Ferrell and Vaughn would not agree to terms with director Todd Phillips. It’s partially sad and to this author’s mind more than a little annoying that this is where Wilson’s career stands. It’s true that some of the actor’s choices haven’t been well-timed or thought-out (see: My Super Ex-Girlfriend), but I’ve loved Wilson a number of recent projects including Tenure, Henry Poole was Here, and the HBO series Enlightened. One hopes that Meeting Evil does well on with it’s current run via On-Demand services and also when it hits theaters on May 4. " ************************************************* I hope, I hope, I hope he does both Anchorman 2 and Old School 2 am also looking forward to his new movies coming out and think they will do very well too. P.S. I liked "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" it was different and I love "Henry Poole Was Here" plus I am hooked on the "HBO series Enlightened" so I am crossing my fingers Luke does Anchorman 2 and Old School 2....

Some more stuff regarding Anchorman 2....
Exclusive: Judd Apatow Talks 'Anchorman 2' Dream Cameos
'Now is the moment where Adam McKay and Will Ferrell disappear into a small room and write it,' producer tells MTV News.
In grand, mustachioed style, Will Ferrell made a surprise appearance on "Conan" last week to announce the long-awaited sequel to his 2004 hit comedy "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy." But before San Diego's favorite newsman can indulge in the scotchy scotch scotch, there's a lot of work to be done, according to producer Judd Apatow.
"Now is the moment where Adam McKay and Will Ferrell disappear into a small room and write it," he told MTV News on Wednesday at the red-carpet premiere of HBO's new series "Girls," which he also executive produces. "So I'm as excited as anybody to hear what they want to do this time." (MTV Movies blog has plenty of plot ideas if you need help, guys!)
Given that the first flick featured an array of quirky cameos — including Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller and Jack Black — it stands to reason that a few unexpected famous faces may appear alongside stars Ferrell, Paul Rudd and Steve Carell. So who are Apatow and co. eyeing?
"All our dream cameos are actual anchormen," he said. "So who knows?"
Well, it just so happens Apatow has a connection to one well-regarded newsman: "Girls" actress Allison Williams' dad, "NBC Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams. But what would it take to see the anchor don a polyester suit and poke fun at his life's work?
"If he kisses my butt enough tonight, who knows?" Apatow joked.
Production on "Anchorman 2" is slated to begin February 2013, according to a tweet from McKay.
