"Old School" just premiered on cable this past weekend. I have the movie on DVD, but my free time is few and far between these days. However, it's always a pleasant surprise to flip through the channels and see Luke's face when you're least expecting to!
Just curious, but what is your favorite "Luke" scene in "Old School?"
Can't wait for the sequel--"Project X!"

I love the scene where he's talking to Nicole in the Kitchen at Max's birthday party. He seems so natural there. Plus I love his outfit and hair in that particular scene. He's irrisistably cute ;D There's also lot's of chemistry between Mitch and Nicole there. Generally I don't think they "click", but in that scene they are snokin'. I rented the Old School DVD a week or so back and listened to the commentary. It was hilarious. I never knew Luke named his eyes Kevin and Shorty!  He does have very pretty eyes though, I can't keep my eyes off them now! What was your favourite scene, AlsoAVirgo? |

Oh, I totally agree. I love the scene in the kitchen with Mitch and Nicole. I also love the scene with Luke holding Max's hand at the birthday party. There's just something about a sexy man and a child!
I also like his bed scene with the high school girl when he whispers, "I love you," as she leaves the room. (Sorry--can't remember her name at this time!)
There's a lot of great scenes in that movie!! How do you like Luke the dancer??

In addition to the scenes already mentioned, I loved the scene where he stands up to his boss - "That's why they call him the Godfather". And I thought the wedding speech was quite hilarious. |

Yet another old thread resurrected. I rented "Old School" yesterday so I could FINALLY see it for the first time. I know, I'm slow. It's one of those movies that I've been wanting to see for a long time, but just never got around to it. I couldn't believe I waited so long. I loved it. It was hilarious. The only thing I'm questioning is why I rented it and didn't just buy it! Luke is adorable, hot & sexy in it!!! So is Vince! ;D Will is just too damn funny! He'll do anything for a laugh - but because of his comedic timing, he pulls it off. I love raunchy comedies, if done right. |

I dont know why...but I like when he gets mad..like when he first gets home and hes looking at Vince and is like "Kitchen...Now"...I dont know lol I'm just weird I'll probably watch that movie later on tonight. I taped it when It was on HBO on day, so now I have it on tape |

Ya know, not too long ago I thought that commentaries were the most annoying things (kind of like in sports).
Lately however, I'm really liking them. I have to be in the mood though - but I love getting information and insight on the movie's production from the stars, directors, screenwriters, etc.

The commentary for Old School really showcases how witty Luke is. Will Farrell is more of a sight gag guy and Vince is better when he can dominate or control a scene. Luke's humor and wit really come across! The commentary and the Actor's Studio bit is what really "did it for me" regarding Luke. It tipped me over the edge -- It's not where it all began - but it certainly took it to a new level. |

This is one movie that I can watch over and over again and never tire of..luckily my husband loves it too...so if nothins on tv..its Old School! I think a couple of my favorite scenes are first at the wedding when Mitch first runs into Nicole...he is so cute and rumpled...then he spills the coffee on her...the best part of that scene is when he has his hand up her dress and Leah Remini steps in and says 'innapropriate, innapropriate Mitch'...then he tells her to 'put in a good word for me' I die every time! My other favorite part is the morning after Mitchapalooza...Beanie and Mitch are on the couch when the Dean comes in. Beanie says...'oh yeahhhh...cheeeeEEEEse!" and then one of em says 'hey didn't we lock you in a dumpster?' Cheese says "well I got out" Beanie then says 'thats cool man" That whole scene cracks me up every time! oh yeah...and when Marissa catches Frank streaking...he gets in the car and says ''Hey honey, do you think KFC is still open?" |
