I love the commentary for this film - I should watch/listen again.
It was hard to tell when the guys were being serious in the commentary. They kept making absurd claims from the very beginning - for example,
- when Luke claimed he was one of the producers or writers (can't remember exactly)
- that Luke was headed to the Staples center after that first take
- that Luke didn't strip at the airport because he had not waxed yet
- that Luke keeps a mirror on set to constantly look at himself
- that Will's house was used for the frat house (which seemed like the truth but then who knows)
- that Will was not in the room with them when they were doing the commentary
- that Vince did the art work as you guys mentioned
Just to mention a few...
You can tell that they probably joked like that on set. I thought they were mostly be funny.
As an aside, I like how Luke says "Great job". He says it with at New England accent - with the stress on the word "job".

Todd Phillips also claimed that Luke would get his haircut every week. Vince said that Will won a necklace from Don The Magic Juan from Snoop Dogg's posse in a dice game and both Will and Vince claimed that Luke's cold wasn't really a cold.....it was a "cold". I loved how they constantly teased each other. Todd Phillips laughed so hard during the dance number! He was cracking up and saying "Look at Luke! Look at him!" and Luke's saying "I can't dance!" but he's laughing too. I have to go back and listen again too-I was cracking up the first time I heard it. I'm sure I missed some good stuff. Yes, I noticed the New England accent. I've heard it come out of Owen too. Luke said once in an article that their father had a heavy New England accent so I guess some of that rubbed off on the boys? Todd and Will teased Luke about his usage of the word "bird dog" too-when Mitch and Frank are chasing "Cheese" and Mitch says "Bird dog him Frankie!". They said "What is that?- a Texas thing?". Actually, I thought they were joking about that too, but I heard somewhere else that he did in fact paint that picture.
I wish I could remember exactly where I heard/read it - I think it was a magazine article.
If I discover exactly where, I'll let you all know. ;D

You're right - Vince is has many suprising talents! He teams-up well with Luke and Owen ("Old School" and the upcoming "Wedding Crashers" respectively).

I found an interview with Will Farrell and Luke that I've never seen before. (It may be on the OS DVD... I don't know, I STILL don't have it.)  Anyways, Luke is adorable and funny! Hope you like it! Click Here Note: it may take a few minutes to load, but it's worth it!  |

Why do you think I posted it? Another great mind. Hey, I was wondering what y'all thought about Will's dig about not getting paid for some movies. Do you think that had something to do with TWBS? I love the way Luke is able to fire back and actually make WILL laugh. I'm glad you all liked it!
