Hi, I just wanted to say that "TWBS" was the movie that turned me from a casual fan, you know, the person who thought Owen was funny, Luke was cute and wait, there's an Andrew? into someone who's spent the last few weeks reading posts from 2003 on up on this board and watching/re-watching the film lists for all 3 as listed on the IMBD.
"TWBS" was just another film on my Netflix list, nothing special, but then I watched it and just fell in love, it was just so unique and funny and it had a charm that really appealed to me. And it sparked an interest that took right off running into an obsession.
Also, reading all your comments makes it even better, you guys are hilarious and it seems like you've created such a wonderful community and friendships (not to mention some great emoticons)! Thank you for allowing me to lurk and enjoy.

I was just someone who thought Owen Wilson was adorable, over here I discovered how great he is a what brilliant writing he does. Oh, and I also discovered that he has two very hot and very, very sexy brothers ;D

Hi BB: Yea I love the Wilsons too. I discovered them when my the movie Cars came out and my kids & I were watching it & I loved Lightning McQueen's voice & started investigating who that actor, Owen Wilson was. I looked him up on imbd & borrowed a couple of DVDs that he was in from my local library. I wound up viewing almost every movie Owen was in, except Minus Man which I was unable to get. I then became really interested in seeing Luke's work (and just being able to look at Luke in general) after seeing "The Royal Tenenbaums". So welcome to our mutual obsession (I mean that in a non-stalking way)!

Yeah, addictive? I think caffeine might be addictive, what do we consider oxygen? Thank you all very much for the welcome.
And by the way, after reading through this thread, I re-watched the special feature "Afternoon at Luke's with Harry Dean & Seymour" because the first 4 or so times I watched it, I thought when Seymour & Luke asked for another drink they were saying "Andrew" and I assumed HE was playing bartender. After reading the posts that mentioned Andrea I had to hear for myself, and yes, there it was. I never would have known . . .
So the boards, entertaining and educational.

Yeah, addictive? I think caffeine might be addictive, what do we consider oxygen? Well, for aerobic critters like ourselves, I call O2 a necessity! (Just like the Wilsons are). ;D

Well, I guess since I've watched "Zoolander", "Serving Sara" and "Idiocracy" on super-slow speed during the Andrew scenes, I pick him. When should I expect delivery? #wink#
But, I'm not that picky, I'm really enjoying ALL the films, interviews and assorted tidbits from each of them. For goodness sakes, I even got one of Laura Wilson's books! Which of course was wonderful, too.

Sheltering Peace: I definitely appreciate Owen for his wit, talent & sex appeal, for sure, but my fav Wilson is his little brother. By the way, wonder how filming is going for Luke in AZ & if Meg will visit the set if she hasn't already.

W.E.S. stands for the Wilson Emergency Squad, where ladies are taught and trained to help the Wisons in case of emergency. Since you're an Andrew's Angel, let me give you an example of the WES circumstances - Andrew is cooking, all of a sudden his pants catch fire...there has to be someone to tear those pants off, de-fire him and maybe give some helpfull medication...As a sidebuisnee, we run the Wilson Party Services, where members of the WES can book/gift lapdances/tabletop danses/pole dancing etc from the Wilson of your choice. We've send a box of Andrew to your place and here's a souvenier: #cheerleader# #dance#
