Thank you so much Owenfan .............. but the disc I rented doesn't have any Special Features. wtf?? I just got Play Movie, Scene Selection and Trailer ....................... I rented it from Rogers, they didn't get any to buy. I wonder why this happened? Very, very, very disturbing. All the discs should be the same. Aaarrgh, I'm so disappointed!

Aw im sorry to hear that Wilsonfreak, thats happened to me in the past when I've rented DVDs with Amazon, only some of the rental versions of the DVDs have all, or any, of the bonus/special features, some only let you watch the movie... presumably hoping that you'll enjoy the movie and want to see the special features and so will decide to shell out money to buy the DVD in the shops... some let you watch all the footage you get on the bought version of the DVD, others don't, its a shame.

Librarian, texasgal, Remi, or anybody else that saw the movie when it first premiered... weren't some things changed since then? Especially the beginning part...I remember there being much more of Austin and its landmarks being shown... Who knows, maybe I don't remember it correctly #lol# but I remember some things being different when we saw it in Austin. I still have to watch the special features and commentary.

No problem, I wasn't much impressed when I first found that out, I'd hoped by renting I'd get to see everything I'd see if I bought the DVDs because I realised most DVDs I bought I didn't watch much... but now if I want a DVD for the extras I tent to just buy it... though you can get second hand copies through Amazon Marketplace or Ebay pretty cheap, if you wait a couple of months or so after they were first released (which sometimes you don't wanna wait that long I know!)...

Natalie, can you believe I got my TWBS Friday and STILL HAVEN'T SEEN IT!!!
I read somewhere (probably here) that the opening cityscapes were changed a bit according to where the movie was screening. They showed all the Austin cityscapes they had for an Austin audience but omitted them - or most of them - for a national audience. That's my impression anyway. I wish they had kept them all in.

texasgal, I didn't know that! They should have left them in, that was something really cool about the movie!

I really enjoyed the special feature section called "Afternoon at Luke's" - where Luke and Andrew chatted to Seymour Cassel and Harry Dean Stanton. I love those guys! And I remember how cool they were in Austin, especially Seymour. I can't wait to watch the rest of the special features!
And I have to say, that watching this movie again is really bringing back great memories of all the fun we all had in Austin!!!

Yes, I couldn't think of a better way to reminisce that weekend, Nat. (Unless, of course, we were to repeat it!)
I agree the scenes of Austin should have stayed in.

I'd love to do an Austin repeat! #happy# Can we get the Wilsons to come too?? #lol#
I forgot to mention, on the interviews section, Eddie Griffin says this about the guys: "Owen is Jimi Hendrix. He's on nine different planets at the same time. Luke is the loaded gun. Andrew is G.I. Joe. He's gonna go in and get the mission taken care of. That's pretty much the Wilsons."

They had it at Target for $19.99. It was also $19.99 as the list price at Best Buy, but when I got it last week, it was on sale for $14.99. I'm not sure if it's still on sale??
