FINALLY I got to watch my copy of TWBS the other night. Remember that scene where Luke is in prison and talking to Eva Mendes through the visitor's window? He says to her something like: You look beautiful. I was thinking the same about Luke!
Oh, and I must have missed it the first time around when Luke says his eyes are green. I remember some conversations about the color of Luke's eyes that we've had here and on the imdb. They must be the darkest green eyes I've ever seen.

i know exactly what youre talking about texasgal. My god and that smile of his he has in that scene I used to have this pic of Luke...actually i think its a wallpaper of just his face. But whoever made it did the background in green and it makes his eyes just...well...words dont do it justice! I may have to see if its still on my computer. If i can find it I'll put it in the Luke photo section so we all can enjoy it full-size EDIT: Okay, found it! I started a new thread called Luke Wallpapers under Luke's photos. You can view it there

Thank you, Mixedberry!
I love it when the color of eyes can't easily be identified. Luke's are like that. For the longest time, I used to think maybe Luke's eyes are violet like Liz Taylor's. And Owen's eyes appear to be blue but they're actually green. For Andrew, I'm assuming his eyes are hazel?

Just saw Wendell Baker. It was a pretty good movie. Wish they had an outakes feature. That's ok though. The interview with The guys at Luke's house was really cute!!

Humbug! I just bought TWBS at Walmart and it isn't one with special features. Seems like I'm never going to see them! Well, back it goes. I'll keep trying!

Librarian, texasgal, Remi, or anybody else that saw the movie when it first premiered... weren't some things changed since then? Especially the beginning part...I remember there being much more of Austin and its landmarks being shown... Who knows, maybe I don't remember it correctly #lol# but I remember some things being different when we saw it in Austin. I still have to watch the special features and commentary. I have finally purchased and watched this movie - again. I do agree that the movie has changed since the premiere in Austin so long ago... The movie is way more economical in terms of editing. They have done a great job of fine tuning it! Remember at the premiere all the shots of him driving the El Camino - sometimes Junior was in the back... other times not. They seem to have fixed continuity as well. I can't believe this film hasn't received more attention and went through all it has - it is so good! Ridiculously good! Especially compared to what does get released! The Afternoon with Seymour and Harry Dean at Luke's killed me! You can tell Harry Dean is a pill to deal with. I loved it when Luke said, "I don't know who your writer is, but he's good..." It pissed Harry Dean off. And yay for Andrea!!!! Did you notice that Seymour asked Andrea for another drink! I thought that was so cool. And Luke said, "I'll take another too". So cute! I love little moments like that. Did you notice that Andrew barely says anything in the commentary? It is so charming that all three of them are so shy. I was a bit disappointed with the commentary because it would have been a great opportunity to hear some amazing stories. But it was cool to learn who everyone is in the movie - just about everyone has a long Wilson history. And I didn't know Uncle Joe was one of the prisoners - missed that somehow. I noticed Luke referred to King Orba as Mark Wallace and said that Mark got Luke on 3:10 to Yuma. Apparently Mark does props. Check out his imdb page.Enough rambling... can't wait to watch it again and again and again!

Mixedberry, I would have been like you on the plane with defective sound for a Wilson movie! I'm afraid I'd get so unruly I'd get arrested by the air marshalls, LOL.
Librarian, loved your commentary about TWBS. I don't remember as much about the first screening as you do which is too bad. But yes, I do want to watch TWBS repeatedly - until I get it memorized, LOL. I'm taking it with me when I go to St. Louis so that I can show it to my sis. She's not so much a Wilson fan but she does love a good movie.

Remember at the premiere all the shots of him driving the El Camino - sometimes Junior was in the back... other times not. They seem to have fixed continuity as well. I did notice that Brother/Junior was and then wasn't in a scene still. I have to say I liked all the shots of Austin from the premiere though... I can't believe this film hasn't received more attention and went through all it has - it is so good! Ridiculously good! Especially compared to what does get released! I agree...and lots of blogs that wrote about the film were saying it was just OK or it wasn't all that great. I thought it was good! The Afternoon with Seymour and Harry Dean at Luke's killed me! You can tell Harry Dean is a pill to deal with. I loved it when Luke said, "I don't know who your writer is, but he's good..." It pissed Harry Dean off. And yay for Andrea!!!! I LOVED the Afternoon with Seymour and Harry Dean! The parts in the car were hilarious! And I thought he had said Andrea, but I wasn't sure! It was definitely a really good part on the DVD! I still haven't seen the movie with the commentary... I'll do that when I have more time...
