Thanks Lib (you've been busy and it's really appreciated) Now what I want to know is how does a girl apply to caddy at one of these things? Pick me Pick me

Luke and sport *sigh* My favourite topic. But why, oh why, does his picture not work when all the rest do? What cruel torture!

Check tvguide.com for when it will be on TV in your area. Looks like it will be on the Golf Channel and on USA on Wednesday, Jan. 21. Then it is also being broadcast Sat. and Sun. in my area on a local station.

Oh my gosh! It is on, Pollyanna! Thanks for the heads up. If you have sky, and for any other NZ lurkers out there, it's on ESPN (sky channel 13) on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10am. Then there are highlights on Sky Sport 1 on Sunday night at 9:30 (I think). Loving my parents right now for having Sky digital The only downside to this is that I'll actually have to watch golf on TV if I want to see Luke

I used to play golf when I was 8. I went to kiddie lessons at the club my dad played at I was a really good putter but I couldn't drive a ball to save my life. I suspect I still can't, even though I haven't touched a golf club in about 10 years! HT, I went to the New Zealand PGA when I was around that age. I don't think I watched even 5 seconds of the actual play though, I was too busy running amok in the tent my dad's work had hired with all the other small and hyperactive company brats Did anyone see any of the golf today? I forgot all about it! If there were any Luke highlights, I'd love to hear about them ;D

Heehee. Would you believe I played golf for New Zealand LL. NZ Junior girls. I started playing when I was 11. I only got into the team cos there were about 10 girls playing golf in the whole country If you knew the difference between the two ends of the club you were in! I still play HT and I use Wilsons balls - of course

Heehee. Would you believe I played golf for New Zealand LL. NZ Junior girls. Wow, colour me impressed! ;D Good on ya, Polly, that's a real achievement! Did you get to go anywhere exciting, or win anything big? Any trophies? I like trophies I'd love to represent NZ in something, but the only thing I'm good at is... well, nothing

Er LL - seriously I was there to make up the numbers! I only played once against Australia and I lost - though I like to think I went down in a glorious cloud of sand (10 shots getting out of a sand trap will sink ya)
And as for being good at nothing!!! that's so not true You are a really good writer and I bet you are good at a bunch of stuff I don't know about in this virtual world. You also could represent NZ if they make telling jokes an Olympic sport (I am lobbying hard here!!!) hell if they can have synchronised swimming why not a stand -up comedy event ;D

LOL. Funnily enough, I don't actually think I'm that funny (bad, bad pun ). Though, that is very flattering Polly ;D I'm trying to think of something I do really, really well. I would say play music, but I am very out of practice. I would say getting drunk, but I'm trying to give up I can tell you what though, if having the most vivid imagination was an Olympic sport, I'm sure I could hold my own in that one I do love to write, maybe they could make competing for the Bestsellers list an Olympic sport ;D Oh, look, there goes my vivid imagination again (Modified for spelling And here is me wanting to be a writer, LMAO)

I remembered after 10 last night that I had taped the golf classic on USA. I quickly tried to fast forward through three hours of tape, put didn't see Luke. However, I could have missed him. I did see Pete Sampras, but I couldn't tell who was standing next to him. The shot was too quick.
If anyone saw Luke, let me know so I can go back through my tape again! I taped it again today, too.
Thanks!

LL- You and I can resume our efforts at golf, but don't give up drinking quite yet. I think we would have to HOLD OUR OWN with these Irish boys...Trust me I'm married to one! (That's a story for a whole 'nother thread!) I would say you have a alot of talent as a writer. It has been fun laughing at these posts... almost as much fun as I have hitting my fairway shots from side to side and tree to tree. My hub says my game resembles a "bad pinball machine." HT

well... I know for sure that Luke is not in the top 128 (person in position #128 has a score of 9+ par! eek!!). I've been looking on the golf channel online and have found nothing. Poor Luke. I guess he's having an off day.
