Hey, kids! The LA Premier is on December 13th and tickets are only $350. Wanna go? Hmm, on second thought I can afford the ticket, but the airfare to LA is going to be a buzz kill. Heh heh. www.masnsports.com/nationals_buzz/2010/12/how-do-you-know-la-premiere.htmlYou know that the entertainment news shows will cover the premiere so hopefully we will get some cool red carpet interviews. (Oh please, may the Movie Gods smile on me and let THE Sexy Beast/Relief Pitcher #1 be there. Pulleeeeze.) I bet the leads will start making the talk show circuit then. Does Owen go on the chat shows? I have never really paid attention before now. So, did we know that Owen's character Matty has a Facebook page? *snort* Lots of cheesy goodness so go no further if you are lactose intolerant. Wait. Do you think Andrew's character has a Facebook page, too? No? I am going to look anyway. www.facebook.com/HowDoYouKnowMatty?v=wall#!/HowDoYouKnowMatty?v=wall They could have put some good photos up at least. Harrumpff.

Hey Cookie, thanks for all the links! To answer your question about Owen appearing on the night talk shows, I read (or heard him to say) that he does not care for the talk show circuit. His appearances have been rare. But when he has appeared on them it is usually in connection to releases of his movies, so we may well see him do some shows fairly soon.

Sabina! Your optimism brought us some good luck. You go, girl.
Owen is going to be on Live with Regis and Kelly on Thursday, December 9th.
I think this is a good omen. I bet he will be doing other talk shows, too. Excellent! We needed some excitement around here. Get fired up, people. (Oh, and between fist pumps make sure and set your DVR.)

I can't wait to see Owen's 3 new films but unfortunately for us in the UK I think they're all coming out after Christmas, when actually now is the perfect time to release them. #sigh#

It's heeeeeeere! The first interview (that I found) from the press junket this weekend with Jake The Movie Guy. And Owen talks briefly about dating. Paul Rudd is cracking me up, too! www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3qOqN_aN3A

Great news about Owen on Regis & Kelly! Now, do I call in sick to work Thursday or take a chance and hope it gets posted to Youtube or something? Decisions, decisions....
Thanks for the Owen interview.....I just wish it lasted as long as the one with Paul Rudd - which I also enjoyed. ;D

Agree, Sabina. We need more Owen time. But on a positive note, Owen did not get a gooey melty chocolate bar from Jake's pants pocket. *vomit* Man, Paul Rudd is a good sport. Here is something else from Popsugar: Quotes from Reese Witherspoon. How cute is she talking about getting attached to Owen. I would get attached to him, too. With super glue! www.popsugar.com/Quotes-From-Reese-Witherspoon-Paul-Rudd-Owen-Wilson-Jack-Nicholson-James-L-Brooks-How-Do-You-Know-12426283•Reese on being the filling in a Rudd/Wilson sandwich: "It’s a tough job, you know ladies, but someone’s got to do it! It was great. How lucky am I to work with two of the most talented, funny, attractive, hysterical men. It was weird too because — oh I could go on. . . Every time I’d do a scene with Owen, I’d get really attached to Owen. Then the day he had to leave I started crying out of nowhere!" •Owen on the real machine gun story: "Somehow a friend knew somebody with one of the embassies that had a tennis court, and then when they let us on to play tennis, they had a machine gun range underneath the embassy that then they took us to shoot on."

Ha, yeah. I'd get attached to Owen with super glue or maybe hand cuffs. Er, on second thought, maybe not. There are situations where I'd rather Owen NOT see me. Owen's machine gun story shows off his "creative" English skills. Maybe the story is more coherent in the telling than in the reading. Yes, I'd cry too if I got to spend time with Owen, then had to say Goodbye to him. Reese has good taste in men!

Sabina - No, I like your idea! Actually there are some advantages to hand cuffs. You can take them off when you need a moment to yourself. Forget super glue. I am ordering a pair of hancuffs right now. www.amazon.com/Furry-Handcuffs-Gift-Bag-red/dp/B000EJLWD6Damn. Amazon has EVERYTHING, doesn't it? I have been off and on with Reese. She blew me away in Walk The Line for example and I adored her in the first Legally Blonde, but I have never really warmed to her as a person. Well, she endeared herself to me with what she said about Owen. So sweet! Now I am a fan for sure. Make sure you look in the Zoolander 2 thread. There is a cute Owen video from the weekend hiding over there!

You've got a point there. We could always cuff Owen to the bed post when we need a private moment. Hee hee. Yep, Amazon DOES have everything. I even found a cross-shaped hairball for sale: "For the cat-lover who has everything...." I did watch the Zoolander 2 link, thank you! Looks like it took place at the same time as the HDYK interview, the one we were disappointed didn't last longer. This sequence must have been deleted since it didn't pertain to HDYK. Makes sense. But I'm glad the deleted portion was posted to the appropriate thread, and we didn't miss out on it. I liked Reese in Legally Blond and, like you, she blew me away in Walk The Line. I had no idea she possessed such talent! But I knew nothing about her personal life. I warm up to anyone who expresses a fondness for Owen.

Another adorable video interview. And I sincerely mean adorable. At this point, even though I am in the office, I just turn the volume up and watch and listen and smile. My folks know to not even bother trying to talk to me if I have that "Wilson" look on my face. (The same face I have when I am licking an ice cream cone.) www.tribute.ca/interviews/owen-wilson-how-do-you-know/star/44337/

The same chick who interviews Owen in my post above also interviews Reese and I post it here only because she has the GREATEST things to say about Owen. Yea, definitely a Reese fan now. www.tribute.ca/interviews/reese-witherspoon-how-do-you-know/star/44336/Just my 2 cents: This same journalist interviewed Owen, Reese and Paul. She obviously likes the movie and the actors and does a fine job, but did you notice? At the end of her interview with Owen and with Paul, she shakes their hand. She did not extend her hand to Reese when she finished up with her, though. That always bugs me. Professional women should be equal opportunity hand shakers. (I know...who cares?)
