Thanks Tinalouise. If the caption to the photo is correct, our suspicions were justified. Little about those photos made sense to me except that they are from a movie. Drenched or bone dry, Owen looks great! So does Reese (darn it!) #phbbbt# Looking forward to seeing this movie.

Because of Owen I'm trying to become ambidextrous. Silly isn't it? When I write with my left hand it looks like the work of a hyper 3 year-old, but I'm working on it!

Well, you can think of it this way: sometime your right hand may be out of commission for a while due to an injury. This way you have prepared yourself for that possibility, and you'll be ready.
A long time ago I tried to do the same thing with the same results as you. But I didn't stick with it long enough to make my handwriting legible. ;D

My dad told me only a few years ago, that I had been left handed but the Catholic School nuns forced me to be a righty. That really pisses me off. I use my left a lot, but if I try to write left handed I feel very anxious and irritated. Way OT here

Sorry if this is OT again, but I don't know where to put it, but we were discussing Tara earlier in the thread... We are very sorry to say that our great friend Tara Subkoff has been diagnosed with a form of brain tumor known as an acoustic neuroma. While benign, it will be fatal to her in approximately two years if not operated on. Recuperation from the necessary operation may take as long as a year. nymag.com/daily/fashion/2009/07/tara_subkoff_diagnosed_with_br.html

Wow! I knew someone who died from a benign brain tumor because it kept growing back. I hope she does well.

Oh my, what sad news - especially for a young person like her. I sure hope she has fabulous insurance and a good support network of family/friends during and after her surgery.

That is indeed very sad. What's even sadder though is that she has to have "fabulous" health insurance to improve her chances of survival. No offence to those of you that live in the US, but I thank my lucky stars that I live in a country that has excellence health coverage for all, regardless of economic status. I hope Obama's plans for a universal health system come to pass for you guys. You'll never look back. I also speak as someone who is a cancer survivor reliant on ongoing treatment. Regular health care here is like private treatment in comparison to other systems.

Wow, what scary and sad news...I hope it can be operated on and that she can recover quickly.

I think this is the movie that brought Owen and company to Philly.

Yes, I'm sure it is although I've read that Owen is to begin filming a new movie soon. But I don't know where it will film.

I'm excited about this movie - along with Owen, I like Paul Rudd and I've been a big fan of Reese's for years. I must confess I'm kind of hoping that she ends up with Owen in the movie... Has there been any more news about it? Has to be said, the white collar/cuffs thing looks good on Owen even if it may be out of fashion Must confess I'd never even heard of Tara Subkoff, but it's very sad that *anyone* should be having to worry about having or not having health insurance and so on when they are already facing life threatening illness and traumatic surgery... My heart goes out to her. Imperfect as it may be, I'm grateful for the NHS in this country.

Owen's been back and forth to Philadelphia and as recently as last week was still spotted there so filming seems to be taking quite a while. I'm looking forward to seeing the film and Little Fockers too which is due to start filming soon.
