Yeah, wish I knew where. It's a safe bet that Luke's place is in west Austin or west of Austin. But that covers a heck of a lot of ground.

Yes, trikc, I read in NY Times real estate section that he bought a place in the West Village. That's why there's a lot of pics taken of him in the Village.

I happened to tune in to a new show on ABC tonight (Tuesday) @ 10:00 pm called "Eli Stone" featuring a tall, blonde actress playing an attorney who resembles Meg quite a bit. If any of you get the chance to see the show, let me know if you agree.

Hmm, here it is the end of the year . . . a time for reflections.
I was just pondering Luke's relationship with Meg. Seems to be going well. They frequently appear together. Eating out, shopping, tennis matches, heading to Scotland for golf. And of course, the coffee that brought her to our notice in the first place.
And then I spared a thought for Andrea. Holidays can be hard. Especially after you've been with someone for 4 years (off & on) and then you have to watch them with someone else. It made me wonder which one of them broke it off? I don't know any of these people personally, so this is all speculation. #hmm#
If it were me, though, after 4 years I might be tempted to quote Beyonce to my guy and say "If you like what you see, put a ring on it." And if he didn't come through, well then, good-bye. You can't sit around waiting forever. Of course, that doesn't mean the feelings just disappear, even if you know you made the right decision.
Well, Meg seems to have a lot going for her, with or without Luke. She was born tall and blonde, so there's a jump start on success right there. She's got athleticism, intelligence (I assume, if she passed the bar) and family connections. So, it doesn't seem like she would need to date him just for her self-esteem. So, I'm going to guess they must have things in common and like each other.
But, at any rate, none of this really matters. Luke's gonna date whomever he wants to date. And until he smartens up and realizes that his true love is probably patiently waiting somewhere on this board, everyone else is just killing time. #idea#
Seriously, if he's happy, then good. Well, with Luke, if he's adorably grumpy, then good.
However, I would like to think that he wishes a life of love and happiness to all the women he's dated in the past. (I can hear Willie Nelson in the background singing "To All the Girls I've Loved Before").

Nice synopsis of this year's events so far btwn the two lovebirds, Luke & Meg, Bluebutterfly. I wish Meg luck since it seems to me you'd have to be a really confident, secure woman to keep a guy like Luke interested. Hopefully for Meg his visit to The Yellow Rose stripclub in Austin last week isn't a sign of boredom on his part or, as someone else suggested, maybe it was a bachelor party. If so, it could have been given for one of his buddies though & not him or who knows maybe he just felt like celebrating the holidays in an unconventional way!

How can she be that dumb and graduate from two ivy league schools and pass a bar exam? Maybe she just seems dumb to others when she's around an overwhelmingly sexy, macho hottie like Lukey!  Many girls would have that reaction, including me! |

Luke was seen with pretty girl Meg Simpson instead of his on-off GF of 4 years, Andrea. Since then she's been accompanying him on his travels... Some believe she either doesnt have or she has quit her job. Well, I guess thats it, in a very small nutshell...maybe LadyLukes will be able to elaborate... |

I get the others who question how can a "dumb" person get an undergrad and a grad degree and pass the bar exam. Well, there are lots of ways to be dumb - though I don't know if Meg is dumb at all or in what way.
To the comment "some believe she has quit or doesn't have a job": it would appear that, if she is employed, she has an extremely flexible schedule to be able to travel so much. I think that's all we're saying.

Maybe I can shed some light on the dumb part. Like the imdb poster said, Meg is very "book smart". That does not necessarily mean she is smart in the ways of the world. Perhaps she doesn't have a lot of common sense, or perhaps she is gullible or naive. I have more than a few clients who are that way....have degrees and accolades up the ying yang, but are dumber than door knobs when it comes to some of the simpler issues. I am constantly asking myself how they earn so much money! In fact, another example is my boss' daughter...straight A student at USC, but can't find her way out of a cardboard box! At any rate, I assume this is the kind of situation the imdb poster may have been referring to. Still, she's smart enough to latch on to Luke! ha ha I think he'd get bored with her if she couldn't make good conversation. Considering she has pretty much been either mentioned in a Luke sighting or seen with him wherever he is for the last, oh seven months, I'd say they have at least one thing in common. And there is no possible way she has a job. (yeah, still jealous) |
