Mick can't stay out in the sun too long. "Any (sun) is too much". If they show the "Fever" episode again, you'll see how "delicate" he really is. ;D Mick hates being a vampire and hates that he was "turned" against his will, so he decided since he can't change who he is, he wants to use his powers to help people.

I'm enjoying Pushing Daisies btw, it started a few weeks ago here. Very surreal, someone described it as like a colour film noir or something... its good though! nice to see Anna Friel do well on such a big show

Anyone watch the new production of "The Andromeda Strain" broadcast on A&E tonight? I thought the first movie from the 70's was good; it pales in comparison to this new one! I read the book ages ago and don't remember if this new movie is following it or not. Seems to be only based on the book as a lot has been added to update it and to make it even scarier. It's starting to remind me of 28 Days Later.
Part II is on tomorrow night.

Has anyone seen The Factory on Spike? It is hilarious - about some factory machinists with absolutely no respect for anyone.

I love pushing daisies! Its adorable. I love the way they fast talk! The last episode i saw was when ned finally told chuck that he killed her dad. Then, all-of-a-sudden the show went offair. Now theyre airing it on another channel, but right from the beginning. Sheesh!

Pushing daisies is a really cute show about a piemaker, ned. As a child he discovers that he can bring dead people to life when he touches them, after touching his dead mum. However, if he doesnt retouch the dead person within 1 min, he/she will live a full life, but someone else in the vicinity has to die in their place, which, in his mums case was his neighbor charlotte or 'chuck's' dad. Another catch-if the person Ned has given life to touches him at any point in their lives, they would die instantly, something that happened to his mum when she was giving him a goodnight kiss. This time, they pass on for good. Years later ned runs a pie shop with a girl called olive who secretly loves him. He also helps this investigator, by bringing murder victims back to life, asking the name of the murderer within 1 min and then retouching them. One of the victims is chuck and ned cant bring himself to put her back to well, sleep. So thats the plot, ned loves chuck, chuck loves ned, they cant touch eachother and along with the detective and a nosy olive, they solve murders.
The name probably comes from the phrase 'To push a daisy' which i guess means 'to die'

Lib, I've never heard of "The Factory"... #hmm#
Peace, I think that's where "Pushing Daisies" ended here in the States, too. It has been renewed, but I'm still not sure when it comes back on again here.

I don't have cable, just rabbit ears, so I am kind of limited as to what is available to watch. I have been hooked on the biggest loser lately. I usually watch it while eating pizza rolls or something else really bad for me!!! I get to watch Diego, Veggie tales and other kid friendly stuff on a regular basis, as that is what my 5 year old likes to watch. I guess I will have to break down and get some of those hdtv converter boxes.
