Yes, I did see the lighthouse one - the last 20 or so minutes. Yes, that was good.

I catch this show from time to time---not enough to know who is on what crew----but I enjoy it. I saw one during the marathon yesterday where the guys kept seeing someone 'peeking' out from behind a tree, as if looking at them.....I thought that was so funny. The ghosts were checking out the investigators! Well, turnabout is fair play and all that. Beth

Was that the one in Ireland? The wraith (not sure of the spelling)? Tex, I saw the Leap Castle one last night... my boy Dustin is the one that fell down. I wish they had better video of that fall... it looks like he just slipped to me. #dontknow# I would love to get your (expert) opinion on the Stanley Hotel episode, if you get a chance to see it. There is a part in there where you can hear something "talking" to them (saying what sounds like "hello" mostly), when they investigate under the hotel. It sounds like a cat to me. They seemed convinced it was a spirit, possibly a little girl.

Was that the one in Ireland? The wraith (not sure of the spelling)? I think so......I remember noticing the word 'Wraith' in the description as I was flipping the channel, which is why I stopped. Wraith = Atlantis! I saw part of that one too! I was doing other stuff and walking in and out of the room but I stopped when they were talking about that.......I couldn't tell if it was a little girl or not. A cat! That's a good guess! Could be..........These people are amazing. I'm a chicken. I wouldn't even get out of the van. Beth, could never host one of those "storm chaser" shows either

I totally missed hearing anyone say "wraith." And I'm not a regular watcher of "Atlantis," so I didn't know about that connection. I looked up "wraith" in Wikipedia, and found this (and yes, wraith is the correct spelling): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WraithI'd never heard "wraith" used for "ghost." (I learn something every day). For those who missed the show, here's something about Leap Castle: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leap_CastleThe article above mentions the "elemental" which was discussed on the show. It is believed that it was the elemental that knocked Dustin down. In the show, they were pronouncing Leap as if it were Lepp. That's how I heard it. My sense of hearing isn't the keenest so it's a good thing they subtitle what they hear on the tapes; otherwise, I don't usually get it. When subtitled, I usually hear what they're hearing. So I may be influenced by the suggestion of the subtitle. So Remi, I don't know if my opinion would be so "expert" after all. LOL. But I appreciate your confidence in me! I find it's sometimes difficult to discern under the best conditions the sound of a cat from that of a child - especially when a cat is in season. I remember from my Genetics class, that an anomaly on the 5th chromosome produces "Cat's Cry Syndrome" where the afflicted child's cry is indistinguishable from a cat's cry. Dustin getting knocked down wasn't captured on camera so it's hard to tell what caused him to fall. For all I could tell, he tripped over something. He sure did seem to be in genuine pain and fright though, that's for sure. If it was staged for TV, he's good.

Thanks for the info. Tex! I think you'd be an "expert" on that particular sound because you have cats. I've never had cats, but I've heard them outside when they are in season, or fighting, or whatever they are doing. Sometimes they do sound like human baby. This is kinda of creepy - Mr. Remi's Aunt had a cat that lived under their sink in the bathroom. (It liked it under there for some reason.) Anyway, she said the cat knew everyone's name that lived there, and would scream them out every once in a while.

Wow, that's quite a story about Mr. Remi's aunt's cat!
I was thinking if it was a cat's voice that was recorded, that wouldn't make the recording any less creepy. If there was no cat around at the time of recording, then that would lead one to suspect cats can be ghosts too.
I swear I head my cat's meow a few days after we had to have her euthanized. I was wiping dry some flatware and stacking it into the drawer. Gray (that was what we called her) didn't like the clanking sound that activity made and would always meow at me whenever I put the flatware away. That's what I was doing when I heard her meow. I even looked down at the floor where I heard the meow come from. Nothing was there, of course. I swear I wasn't even thinking of her at the moment but, of course, I probably was thinking of her since it had been less than a week since her passing. Knowing that sound bothered her could have subconsciously triggered me to think of her so that I imagined I heard her meow.
But I've heard many other people tell similar stories about dead pets.

I have cats too. I have two right now, but up until 3 yrs. ago I had 3 (and a dog). Whenever I'm on the phone, my cat Emma gets jealous. She'll come near me and start meowing loudly. I've had people that I'm talking to on the phone say, "Is that a baby?". HA! Even my own mother (who knows the exact age of her grandchild of course) has said it sounds like a baby. But that's over the phone lines and it sounded like a baby, not a little girl and this was a ghost hunt type thing so who knows....... Beth, cats rule

Have you ever watched that show "John Edward Across Country"? He's one of those ghost whisperers. Anyway, I have heard him tell more than a few people that their dog/cat/bunny is on the other side with their loved ones. I think that's great! Not sure about animal ghosts, but I guess if people can be ghosts, why not animals? Something to ponder.

I have seen him on other shows, but not that show in particular. I think it would be great to have our pets on the "other side"! We used to "see" one of our dogs at my Mother's house after she passed away. I'm not sure if it was us just being so used to seeing her out of the corner of our eye, or if it was actually her "ghost".

It wouldn't be worth going to "the other side" if there were no pets there. Just mho.

It wouldn't be worth going to "the other side" if there were no pets there. Just mho. Aww! I used to watch John Edwards show, Crossing Over. I don't know what to think of such people/things, there's alot of scepticism and im sure there are people who do it just to make money and don't have any such real 'talent' but he seems somewhat genuine enough... infact, I remember one time watching a show where they played a clip of him giving this speech, it was all about belief and life and stuff, it was a long time ago some 3 or so years ago when I saw it and I remember thinking how powerful and good it was after I'd seen it, I had wished I'd taped it but I didn't and I've never been able to find it since...
