Thanks for the review of "Revolutionary Road" Tex. I've got plans to see it next week with my sister. Sounds like we'll enjoy it and have plenty to discuss after.
Startip Mummy the Third is on my list ( a Remi pick, right?)
I watched "The Visitor" over the weekend, courtesy of Netflix. I liked it. It was a quiet movie. In fact, it was like watching a book. Which is a compliment from me. #wink# It raised some interesting questions about the treatment of immigrants in the US. And it was just a nice story. I actually cared about the characters and what happened to them.

I guess in honor of Valentines Day, one of the cable channels broadcast Somewhere In Time tonight. This 1980 romance fantasy starring Jane Seymour, Christopher Reeve, and Christopher Plummer was barely noticed when it was first released but has gained popularity over the years. Most of the movie was filmed at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan. www.imdb.com/title/tt0081534/During commercial breaks, Jane Seymour was interviewed, asking her about her memories of this movie. She had lovely things to say about Chris Reeve, that they became lifelong friends while filming. The movie suggests that there's someone for everyone, even if they live at different periods of time. The musical score is very romantic and beautiful, sticking with you for a long time. The Grand Hotel is a real hotel on an island where no cars are allowed. The only modes of travel are horse and carriage and bicycles. The few cars you see at the beginning of the movie were strictly for the movie only; they were allowed to be driven only during filming. The Grand Hotel dates from the late 19th century and boasts the longest porch in the world. I've visited the hotel several times though never have stayed there. I didn't realize this film has such a cult following. The members gather every year at the Grand Hotel to celebrate the movie, all of them dressed in the appropriate apparel of 1912 - the year the movie takes place. In the 1990's the members honored Chris & Dana Reeve with the dedication of a plaque, celebrating the place on the beach where Richard Collier (Christopher Reeve) first meets the love of his life, Elise McKenna (Jane Seymour). If you've not seen this movie, I strongly recommend it. It does involve time travel though so you have to suspend logic. You can't think about it too much; just accept it at face value and enjoy the ride.

Nanny Diaries, The Fantastic Four pts 1&2 and everything mentioned on his imdb page...I'm afraid that's all you can do. Lucky Jessica Biel (tho I dont understand, why in the world would anybody leave this[/u][/b] for Justin Timberlake?! Luv-schluv...all overrated. If I had this, I wouldnt mind pretending to be in love...tho I think I already am, in love...)

sup]edited to add some more drool . . . . what else can a girl do during an Andrew drought? And Luke is all in the golf gear. And Owen's all draped around Kate. And Nike is making Rafa wear his shirt . . . it's a cruel world at times. [/sup][/quote] Actually, the problem is that his new tees have sleeves #phbbbt# ...covering his nice-nice biceps. To be fair, his shorts have gone shorter. Tho the material they use now doesn't emphasie on his bee-hind like the old ones. Stupid Nike!
