Jennifer, WOW!! i love Jane Eyre too!! i've read it twice so far (i just discovered it this past summer) and absolutely LOVED it both times!! (that's two things we both like mentioned in the same day! ;D) it's probably been mentioned before, but i love, love, LOVE Bridget Jones's Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. I've read them at least a dozen times apiece and know it inside out!! (I know the movies inside out too ) if you were to ask any of my friends or family if i liked Bridget Jones, they'd just roll their eyes at you with annoyance, because that's all i ever talk about! lol (and the Wilsons too!) it's always, "Remember in Bridget Jones when..." or "OH! Remember when Bridget did that..." lol it get's annoying, i suppose... anyway, back to the topic of novels: one book i would highly recommend to those who enjoyed Bridget Jones is Jemima J. by Jane Green. it's very funny and extremely exciting. once you start reading it, you can't put it down! ;D if you've got a library card, go to your local libarary and take it out! you won't regret it!

L2D what great taste we both have!! I have the 1st Bridget film on video and love it but haven't got to see the 2nd one yet or read the books but you've inspired me to move off my ass and do it! I've read Straight Talking by Jane Green and thought it was brill. My step-daughter (whose 18yrs) loves her books too and is always going on and on about how I must read more of them! Am not a member of a library unfortunatly 'cos I live out in the country side & it's too far to go to the nearest. However my family has a "book rota" system. Between us when we've read something we pass it on round the family and then when everyone's read it if no one wants to keep the book we take it to the charity shop so someone else can enjoy! ;D

I just finished "Sahara"!!! it's about frickin' time, too! I thought it was outstanding! For those of you who weren't here when I started it, Tex recommended it to me. Thank you Tex! I found it to be right up my alley. It's kind of a "Raiders of the Lost Arc" meets James Bond kind of thing. Gadgets, conspiracy theories, evil dictators, romance... it has of that. Plus, I loved Pitt's sidekick's dialogue... he had me in stitches with his sarcasm. After I'm done readin John Falk's book, I'll be right back reading more Clive Cussler's novels (the author of Sahara). I can see from the previews of the movie that there are going to be some inconsistencies with the book. I hope my disappointment will be outweighed by the outstanding casting of Matthew McC as the lead character, Dirk Pitt (exactly who I pictured in my mind).

I guess I can sorta see it. McC has a thing for toothpicks too! But, their personnas are completely different. One gets the impression that Matthew would be able to change a tire in no time flat or be up to his elbows in grease and oil, all grundgy and dirty, fixing his Harley in the carport, and... what was I talking about again? Huh? What? Did you say something Jennifer? BTW, I couldn't find the John Faulk book in paperback, so I started reading another Clive Cussler book... Inca Gold.

I HAD to pick up the Details magazine with Matthew on the cover when I was in the airport. That man is just sexy! The first picture on the article cracks me up though...he has this wild look in his eyes. I just don't know what the hell he's doing with Penelope Cruz. I can't stand her. Yuck.

>:(Remi you crack me up! I think I get what you're saying - if you were a damsel in distress then Matthew would get dirty for you( ) but Owen wouldn't?? Either was I wouldn't say no to either of them

If there was a 'vomiting smiley' I'd use it next to her name anytime I had to write it...
Like, he's with Penelope Cruz (imagine 'vomiting smiley' here) Oh man THAT's plain bad taste!

It's funny because when I was writing my previous post yesterday, that is the exact smile I was looking for! Matthew = Penelope Cruz = [img src="http://www.my-smileys.de/smileys2/10_2_6[1].gif"] Edited: Sorry to any fans of Penelope Cruz. I don't mean offense, it's just that I really, really, really don't like her. At all.

That's something! So you vomit from there and I vomit from here. Edited: Sorry to any fans of Penelope Cruz. I don't mean offense, it's just that I really, really, really don't like her. At all. I'm sorry for the fans of PC [img src="http://www.my-smileys.de/smileys2/10_2_6[1].gif"] too, but hey they can always find something better to like...

Ummmm, she's just plain gross, ugly, stuck-up....oh wait, I'm being mean. I'll just say that I strongly dislike her. And it has nothing to do with the fact that I absolutely love Nicole Kidman.
