What a great trip, LL. My brother used to live next to the reservoir in Silverlake. He actually lived in the neighborhood north of Silverlake called Los Feliz (my favorite area of LA). It is very close the Sharon Tate/Manson family murders (gruesome trivia ) That's not why I like the area though. It is more of a neighborhood... Little sidewalk cafes, people walking their dogs, etc. There is a skunk issue near Griffith park - My brother had many little stinky visitors all the time. A section of Los Feliz was once the Walt Disney company town - where all their indentured servants (I mean employees ) lived. There are a couple of beautiful Disneyesque bridges. I am so glad you made it out there. My brother lives in Burbank now near Warner Bros studio. It's neat to ride past the famous entrances. Venice beach is a spectacle, don't you think- especially the muscle beach section. Why someone would want to work out there is so obvious and funny at the same time. I just found out that I am going to be in LA twice this summer (July and August) for work. So I'll get to see my bro. He's working on a Ray Ramano film right now. I hope I get to go on the set.

Thank you LL! I have a new appreciation for LA! I bet it's cool knowing you have been to some of the same places Owen and Luke have been! I'm just sorry you didn't run into to them!

Well it definitely cemented my desire to live there. Right now, I am planning on saving money and moving out there in a year and half to two years. It is very definitely the place I want to be.

It has been so enjoyable spending these LA days with you. It is very obvious that you spent considerable time planning and developing an agenda of places of interest. It would be fun to spend time at the ocean and just soak up the atmosphere that the Wilsons so enjoy. You have done a wonderful job sharing the best with us Linney... Thanks HT

My brother works in production specifically for the producer. He doesn't like it, but it pays very well. I haven't been on any movie sets, but he has been on several working in various capacities. He worked on the TV sitcom Happy Family last fall - and I went on that set a few times which was great. I watched them do walk throughs and I was once there when they were blocking a scene. It's really cool to see the process.

How fun!! Does your brother work for the same producer all the time or does he work for different ones? Who is his favorite person in Hollywood? Did you develop your love for the Wilson's based on some insider information? ;D

He works for different producers. He keeps trying new positions, so he doesn't even work the same job every time. The draw back to exploring different positions is that he sometimes has to join a new union which is costly. He doesn't understand my Wilson thing. In fact I don't know if he'd recognize Luke at all. Don't get me wrong he's still a celebrity enthusiast -- not at all jaded as many folks pretend to be out there. An interesting recent disappointment for me is that Happy Family films at CBS at Radford studios -- where That 70's Show films. Imagine my consternation when I discovered that Luke was going to be on the show. If my brother had his ear to the ground regarding all things Wilson -- as he should -- then who knows!! He might have snagged me an autograph, a photo -- something. An inside story would have been sufficient.

Then you know people you can submitt your screenplay to, audition for, etc, etc...is he an aspiring anything? I concidered taking a job like that so I can get on the inside....but didn't.
