Yeah, I'm curious to know if they did get a distributor. They probably did, that's why Luke is so calm now. Go on and post the number, Paris! I mean, Remi!

Here's another question:
Are you planning to write about a guy who wears the same shirt all the time? It has been done, ya know...
Modified to add:
Another question:
Hey Luke, do ya smell buckweat?

Yay Remi!!!!!!!!! Way to go!!!!!!!!! I"m so happy for you!!!!! Your story was so funny!! Can't wait to hear from whoever the other person is who was lucky enough to breathe the same air as Luke!!!!! How awful about the turbulence!!!!!!!!!! Owen couldn't get off the plane, Andrew seems to have deplaned, but didn't feel well enough to attend the screening, and the baby, Luke, (I love saying that!) was such a brave little soldier and came out!!! They must have been awfully scared!!!

I kept thinkin', if it was enough turbulence to make big ol' Andrew sick, Luke must be a really tough cookie! I'm glad y'all liked my story! Thank you for all your kudos! And encouraging me to go in the first place!

Ok, I have decided that I will come out of hiding. ;D I was with Remi in Charlottesville last night. I don't really have much to add to her story. She covered it pretty well. I was going to add that Luke was not clean-shaven - but that has been mentioned in another thread already. The only other thing I can think to add is during the Q & A Luke did an impression of Harry Dean Stanton that I thought was hilarious. He was talking about how Harry Dean would put him in his place if he tried to direct him too much. He said that Harry Dean would say something like "Look boy, I've been a great *f'ing* actor longer than you've been alive...." And then he talked about how he would have to direct Harry Dean indirectly through Andrew. He imitated Harry Dean saying things and was so funny. I'm not recounting this very well, but it was just so cute to hear Luke's version of Harry Dean. ;D I really enjoyed the movie. I can't really say much about it because I liked it so much that I would just gush on and on and spoil it for everyone else! I wish I had had the forethought to ask everyone for questions to ask at the Q & A. I was trying hard to think of something, but my mind was blank - I was just so fascinated listening to Luke talk. I didn't really realize that we were going to be able to attend the Q & A. That was a nice surprise. I am disappointed that we didn't get to meet Luke or see him up close. I wish the theater had not been so dark so I could have stared at him during the movie, but then he might have really sent the security guards after us! I was tempted to get up and go to the bathroom just to have an excuse to walk past him, but I didn't want to miss the movie (and I might have been tempted to throw myself at his feet). He did say he was going out afterwards, but did not mention where (darn him). If I had had my head on straight I would have asked around to see if anyone knew anything. After Remi left I drove around a bit to see if there was anywhere open that looked like somewhere he might be. I checked inside a couple of places, but he was not there. I was hungry and drove past a place called The Station restaurant. I thought about stopping in to eat and it crossed my mind that Luke might be there, but I talked myself out of it thinking I wouldn't be so lucky. I am really kicking myself today because I read the vafilm.com article and in the last paragraph it mentions that there was a reception following the Q & A...guess where? The Station. I am so disappointed that I did not stop there. I am trying to look on the bright side and figuring that it was probably a private party and I would not have been able to go in, but I could have waited around outside or something...idiot, idiot, idiot! I guess I was not meant to meet him last night. I am holding out hope that I will meet him some day when the time is right. Ok, I have edited this to add that what I said in the past few sentences sounds a little looney (for lack of a better word) and wasn't intended that way. **To Remi - it was great meeting you. I had a really nice time. You are a super sweet person (Everyone - she was willing to give me the cover of her extra Bottle Rocket DVD to have signed because I forgot mine. Unfortunately, we didn't get the opportunity to get Luke's John Hancock on them). I hope if the boys are ever in the area again that we can get together and chase them down!

Thanks, Luke's Girl, for sharing!! I'm so glad you decided to do that, and it was lovely to hear (haha) you say that you would just be Gushing all over the place to describe the movie!! You had a very special experience, meeting Remi and seeing Luke 'for real' and seeing the movie before most of the world!!!

LukesGirl musta got a better look at Luke because she was closer to the aisle than I was, and I was still messing with my damn camera. From a distance (and my bad eyes or the lighting) he looked clean-shaven to me. **To Remi - it was great meeting you. I had a really nice time. You are a super sweet person (Everyone - she was willing to give me the cover of her extra Bottle Rocket DVD to have signed because I forgot mine. I so enjoyed meeting you LukesGirl!! You had a real calming effect on me. OK, so I wasn't that calm, but I know I would have been a whole lot more nervous if you weren't there to listen to my chatter, laugh, and conspire with me. ;D And I wasn't about to let a little thing like a DVD cover come before you getting an autograph! If the chance to see the boys near us ever arises again, you won't have to ask me twice!
