I peeked at The Star at the grocery store yesterday. Man, the photos of Jade are not flattering. I can see why some stars choose to do 'setups' with the paps where they get all fluffed up and then pretend that they are candids. That way they can control how they look. In US Weekly though they have a little inset in the middle of a big spread about Kate Hudson's pregnancy *cough* that talks about Owen and Jade and they have a side-by-side photo of them both. Jade looks good in that little photo in US Weekly. Anywho, word on the street (LOL!) is that Owen is going to be a good Dad. Well, duh. www.eonline.com/uberblog/marc_malkin/b221115_owen_wilson_hes_going_be_good_dad.htmlOwen Wilson: "He's Going to Be Good Dad" Owen Wilson not only surprised fans when he recently announced he was going to be dad, but then he one-upped himself when the baby boy was born just a few days later.
How'd he keep his impending fatherhood a secret?
"He's actually really quiet," says Carly Craig, one of Wilson's costars in the upcoming comeddy Hall Pass. "He's very reserved. He's just a normal sweet guy."
And that means he shouldn't have any problems with parenthood. "I think he's going to be a good dad," Craig said at the BAFTA/LA tea party at the Four Seasons. "Owen's normal, you know what I mean? He's not all crazy and wacky. He's not at all Hollywood. I think that makes a good parent."

Jade looked so small in last year's pictures that I can't imagine her having a big bump. Are those pictures online? I prefer candid pictures because the celebs look so normal without all the makeup and airbrushing, in most cases anyway, there's always the fortunate few who still look great in both candid shots or set up photoshoots.

I cannot find the Star photos online. I could scan them in but I do not know how to post them here. She is actually not huge in any of the three photos, though, and does not even seem to be in the third trimester. But what do I know?
As I understand it from a friend who does PR, very few photos are 'candid' shots. Many may LOOK like they are random shots of celebs going about their every day lives but according to her most shots are 'setups' where the celeb calls the photogs and lets them know where and when they will be out and about. The celeb then makes sure they have their hair did and their make-up fixed and that way there are fewer shots of the celebrity looking like a schlub out in the tabloids and on the web.
I am clearly not an expert but just repeating what she has told me. PR is a fascinating game and it boggles my mind. Obviously the Wilson boys do not play the game which I think is awesome. In the case of The Star photos it did not work to Jade's advantage, though, in my opinion. Had it been me I would have wanted to look fab-u-lous for my tabloid debut. "Hello, World! I am Owen's baby momma and the rest of you yahoos can suck it!"
Hahahaha!

Aha! Baby boy Wilson has a whole new indentity: Robert Ford Wilson. How sweet that they named him after Grandpa Robert. I kind of thought Ford was cool but they did get it in there. From People: celebritybabies.people.com/2011/01/19/revealed-owen-wilson-names-son-robert-ford/Revealed: Owen Wilson Names Son Robert Ford
Will he be a little outlaw?
Owen Wilson and his girlfriend Jade Duell named their newborn son Robert Ford Wilson, PEOPLE has confirmed — not Ford Linton Wilson, as has been erroneously announced in some reports online.
The couple haven’t spoken publicly about their choice, though of course, in America, the name Robert Ford brings to mind the famous American outlaw who killed Jesse James in 1882.
Wilson, 42, and Duell welcomed the new baby late last week in Hawaii. This is the first child for the actor, who is currently starring in Little Fockers. And this from The National Enquirer: www.nationalenquirer.com/celebrity/70028?cid=RSSOWEN WILSON BABY NAME SWITCHEROO
Just when the world thinks they know the name of OWEN's WILSON's newborn, the Butterscotch Stallion changes the child's name, The ENQUIRER reports exclusively!
Owen and his air marshal GF Jade Duell have changed baby's name to Robert Ford Wilson.
Why?
Because Robert is Owen's father's name.
At the last minute, before filling out the birth certificate, Owen decided he wanted the baby to have his father's name.
POP FYI: Owen's dad Robert Wilson is a former PBS executive who first brought Monty Python's Flying Circus TV show to American airwaves when he managed station KERA, in Dallas, Texas.

That pesky Star magazine! They really know how to market their little rag. I was reading their blurb about the name change and they end it with: However, in the Jan. 31 issue of Star, on sale today, an insider close to Jade questions whether she's with the star for the right reasons — or if she's setting up the movie star for another heartbreak. Pick up the new Star now for the full story! www.starmagazine.com/news/17811Aw, man. There has been enough smack talkin' out on the internet. They should just leave them in peace for a while before they start up all this shiznit. I was going to maybe buy the current Star and try to scan the photos for anyone here who was outside the US but now not so much. I will peek in the checkout line, though. Ha! That'll show 'em. ;)

Star is a rag pure and simple, so that's all I'll say about that!
Congrats to Owen and Jade. #bounce# I haven't been on her for a while but I saw online about the baby news. I absolutely love the name they've chosen. I love strong masculine names for baby boys.

Oh, good catch, OCW. In People, no less. That is one of the pics in Star and then there was another one on a different day with the same shirt on...or at least her hair was different and she had on a white sports bra thingy underneath in the second shot.
I know it is shameful to admit and I should really mind my own business but I sure wish we had more photos. I want to see that baby, dammit!

Congrats to Owen and Jade. #bounce# I am also happy for you Owen; I always wished you would be happy and fulfilled with whoever you chose to be with, and having your first son must be such a blessing. It’s hard to know if it all happened the way you wanted it to, especially with articles that say some nasty things (like the one coming out in the tabloid Star in the January 31 issue, I have seen an early copy of it, it was the main reason I felt compelled to post something tonight.) Articles like this might or might not have any truth, probably wise to take it all with a grain of salt. (I remember years ago, before another actor got married, there was an article in the Star listing a multitude of problems in his fiancée’s family, from her mother’s unpaid debts to her father’s disbarment to a brother’s ongoing struggle with drugs – later, the actor’s father said that the family all knew about the article in advance, and it was all true, but no problem, they would be married soon anyway. They still are today.) Owen, if you love her, that’s fabulous and I am happy for you both. I know you love your son in completely new and amazing ways. I hope you have all the privacy and peace you deserve. But if you don’t love her, for whatever reason, or you don’t remain together as a couple, please know that this won’t change any of the love felt for you. Do what is right and authentic for you, whatever that is. For people who really love you, there’s nothing you could ever do, nothing that could ever happen in your life that would change that love. Life is complicated, love is constant, unconditional, compassionate. Of course, expressing affection like this is a bit inappropriate or unladylike once it is clear you are in a committed love relationship and raising a child with someone else so please don’t feel any ill will or think anything negative if there’s fewer postings here and there – you know what they say, it can be those times when you can’t see love directly that it is strongest (Just like in The End of the Affair, love doesn’t go away just because people can’t see each other.) Sometimes you show how much you love someone by letting go. If ever needed, I am always here. (Though I bet I won’t be needed. Looking back, I always tried too hard to be witty in long messages, but I bet it never worked. I was hoping reading it would inspire something like “Oh, she is smart, I want to meet her and have children with her” but it’s probably inspiring something more like “Is there going to be a quiz on all this, do I have to take notes?”) I love the name Robert Ford Wilson, by the way. (Linton made me think of Wuthering Heights.) I am sure your dad is so proud to have a grandson named after him, and your son is lucky to have such a wonderful family around him. Be happy!

She's not at the end of her pregnancy in this pic but it's strange how the connection with Owen wasn't revealed until 4 days before the birth. Probably this picture was taken because she was seen to be part of Owen's circle like in the Grouse Mountain pics, but proved useful later on. Maybe we wouldn't have know that Owen had become a dad if the Star hadn't found out. I'm not going to lie and say I don't want to see baby Robert because I am curious. After all I was happy when Owen was pictured walking beside the pram with the blonde baby in Vancouver. Hey, that still could be Owen's baby? Owen and Kate having babies the same year though? That's some coincidence though I think they would have had a cute baby.

RadarOwen Wilson Love Child Bombshell: ‘Wedding Crashers’ Star Gets His — Married — Personal Trainer PregnantPosted on Oct 8, 2013 @ 23:00PM | By Amber Ryland - News Editor Owen Wilson is becoming a father for the second time, but his second baby mama is a married woman who just filed for divorce in May! According to a new report from the National ENQUIRER, Wilson, 44, is secretly preparing for the January birth of his child with 42-year-old Swedish-born ballerina Caroline Lindqvist. Lindqvist has been separated for more than a year from Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Dr. Ritu Chopra. The ENQUIRER reports that Wilson met Lindqvist shortly after his breakup from actress Kate Hudson and 2007 suicide attempt. The Wedding Crashers hired Lindqvist at the time to be his personal trainer and the friendship eventually evolved into a sexual relationship. “Caroline broke the news to Owen this past May shortly after confirming that he was the father,” a source told the magazine. “A few days later she filed for divorce from her husband.” Star magazine reports that Wilson and Lindqvist dated while she was legally married. But, the couple had been physically and legally separated before their relationship began. “Ritu was completely blindsided by the news of Caroline’s pregnancy,” the source said. Wilson had a son with then-girlfriend Jade Duell two years ago but they split after five months. To find out more about Wilson’s baby mama, pick up the latest issue of National ENQUIRER and Star magazine, both available on newsstands Thursday.

There is gossip that this is Owen's fourth child. This is a gossip item that originated in 2011 (I haven't included the pics).... Multiple Baby MamasSOLVED! UPDATED [BlindGossip] Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t the only one with multiple Baby Mamas. This well-known (but occasionally troubled) Actor has three baby mamas, none of whom are famous. He left BabyMama1 high and dry after the found out she was pregnant. Then he got a woman in a small town pregnant. However, he never made any sort of commitment to BabyMama2, either. A few years later, the Actor had the nerve to return to the same small town… with BabyMama3 in tow! He thought it would be nice if 2 and 3 raised his children near each other. Thoughtful of the stud, right? So, now he has three children with three different women. Just like his lesser-known brother. Not that this will ever get publicized. Even his parents don’t know about all three babies. They still think of Actor as their golden boy and hope that he will get back together with one of his very famous ex-girlfriends. SOLVED! It’s Owen Wilson! Source: Blind Gossip Let’s start with the lesser-known Wilson brother, Andrew. Andrew now has four children with four different women. Source: National Enquirer Now let’s move on to Owen, The Butterscotch Stallion, who has his own children to support. The only one he has publicly acknowledged is the son of Jade Buell. In a really odd series of events, Wilson’s publicist announced that Owen was going to be a father on January 10, 2011. The baby was born in Hawaii sometime between then and January 14, 2011. Then, on June 24, 2011, it was announced that Wilson and his babymama were no longer together. Here’s a pic of Owen and Jade bringing little Robert to Maui (perhaps to visit with his siblings?): And then, five minutes later, they broke up. From The Daily Mail: Riiight. The spokesperson was “not available”. Who is really going to explain why no one even knew he was dating this woman? Nobody. Who is going to explain the fact that the birth was a couple of days after the announcement that they were expecting? Nobody. Who is going to explain the weird wording of the article, “is said to have split from the mother of his only child”? (publicist inclusion alert!) Nobody. When you have lots to hide, the default position is to say nothing. And if those other babymamas in Hawaii want their checks to keep rolling in, they will say nothing as well. Congratulations to LuvPrue1, who was first with the correct answer! Luv even got the “golden boy” reference and the old girlfriend (Kate Hudson). Yay, LuvPrue! UPDATE:Owen Wilson – The Butterscotch Stallion – is going to be a daddy once again! Baby number four is on the way! And, once again, the woman (this time it’s a personal trainer named Caroline Lindqvist) is not someone he was publicly dating. In fact, this woman is married to someone else! Whoops… Also, true to Owen’s well-established pattern of daddydom, the announcement of the baby comes late in the pregnancy. Caroline told Owen in May that she was pregnant, and the media is just picking it up now. Assuming that she was between 1-3 months along when she told Owen, she is now 6-9 months along. The photo on the left may give you some indication of how far along she is (although we don’t know how recent it is). It’s also interesting to note that Jade Duell (mother of baby #3) requested that Caroline (mother of baby #4) not be allowed to give birth at Owen’s home in Hawaii. Clearly, three Wilson babymamas on the island is enough! With the arrival of this baby, Owen will tie his brother Andrew’s record for most children fathered with multiple women out of wedlock. Four apiece! Gosh, their parents must be so proud! From The National Enquirer:
