I bought the new Star magazine (dated Jan 24). I'm a pretty fast typist so I'm copying the article here. Much of the content we've already read in articles already posted:

"You can't stay at the party forever," Owen Wilson once said. "At some point, you have to take stock and ask yourself, 'What am I doing here?'"
Three years after his shocking suicide attempt, Star can reveal that Owen has finally settled down to a new life with a new love - and he's about to be a father!
One of the most eligible bachelors in the world, he's been tamed by a beautiful gun-toting air marshal, sources tell Star, and the couple are currently awaiting the birth of their first child, a son - due any day now - at Owen's $8 million ocean-front home in Maui, Hawaii.
"Owen has a new lease on life," a family friend tells Star. "He's come all the way back from the depths of despair to being happier than he ever dreamed possible."
The new chapter of Owen's life began when he met Jade Duell, a 28-year-old air marshal, while en route to film How Do You Know with Reese Witherspoon last year on a flight from L.A. to Washington, D.C. "It was love at first sight," the insider reveals.
"They talked all the way to D.C. - and by the time they landed, Owen said, it was like they'd known each other their whole lives. They exchanged numbers and e-mails and haven't gone a day without talking since." And Jade even relocated from Virginia to Hawaii to be closer to him!
"Owen joked to his family that he was dating a hot air marshal so he wouldn't be afraid to fly anymore," the source reveals. "And his family quipped that he was the only one dumb enough to hit on a woman carrying a gun! Lucky for him, Jade adores his sense of humor. They couldn't be happier together."
Owen's current happiness is a far cry from the tortured life he was leading just over three years ago. Reportedly addicted to cocaine and heroin, he did stints in rehab at Hazelden in Minnesota and Promises in Malibu after his gruesome suicide attempt on Aug 26, 2007.
His family and friends, including his actor brother, Luke Wilson, and close pal Woody Harrelson, rallied round to help him start on the long road to recovery. At their urging, says the friend, he hired a trainer and a chef and developed a new life plan that had family members monitoring his every move.
"His uncle Joe and brother Andrew moved into his Santa Monica home and still live there today," the family friend explains. "They're so close to Owen that Andrew even flew to Hawaii in July to supervise the building of the nursery for Owen's son at his Hawaiian home." Cheers star Woody also has a place nearby in Maui and frequently drops in for a visit, says the source.
While Owen's inner circle is aware that he was expecting a baby with Jade, the source says, his colleagues and acquaintances had no idea Owen was deeply in love and even planning to be a dad.
When Jade visited Owen, 42, last spring while he was filming Little Fockers and then the upcoming Woody Allen movie Midnight in Paris, the source says, "Owen kept their relationship low-key, and few people thought she was anything more than just a friend," an insider explains. "No one put two and two together."
In December, the couple flew to Hawaii to prepare for a home birth at Owen's Maui pad. "Jade and Owen were both on the same page when they decided to have the baby at home," the insider reveals. "They wanted a calm, quiet, soothing atmosphere for their boy. It was very important to Owen that the birth be Zen-like, because now he's all about tranquility being the key to a healthy life."
And all is looking bright as he and Jade plan a future together with their new son. "They seem to have settled on naming him Ford Linton Wilson," says the friend. "They both like the name Ford, and Jade's dad's name is Linton."
But Jade probably won't become Mrs. Wilson anytime soon. "They don't feel any pressure to get married yet," says the source. Still, it can't be ruled out if Owen's past comments are any indication: "A shotgun wedding might be the way to go for me," he once said.
For now, though, the couple are focused on welcoming their son. After kicking back in Hawaii for a while, Jade will make the move to Owen's Santa Monica mansion. Owen's Maui place will be their vacation home.
In the end, says the source, Owen knows he has found the role he was born to play: "He's cool with being a movie star, but he knows that he's going to love being a dad. And if everything else were to disappear, being Dad is good enough for him."

Wow! Thanks for "delivering" the news, Nana. (Excuse the pun). I hope baby and mom are doing well.... and dad too! May they always be as happy as they are right now. I know that's not realistic but it's what I wish for them.  |

i got the Star magazine and there are 3 bump pictures including the front page that was posted here. My scanner doesnt work. sorry
not much new info except that Jade's mum Diana is from Hawaii.

Cookie, the photos of Jade are with bump.
It's easy to picture Owen being Jade's birthing coach. I picture him very attentive and in command of the "proceedings" but I hope they had some sort of experienced midwife around too. I hope we hear that all went well for them.

I loved having a little baby. I am excited for them. Now when they turn 13 it is a whole different thing, but babies...ahhhhhh!

Owen Wilson has a Little Focker of his own: He and his girlfriend, Jade Buell, have welcomed a son.
"Everyone is doing well," his rep tells PEOPLE.
The baby was born in Hawaii.
Wilson and Duell have been dating for more than a year, according to Entertainment Weekly. News of Wilson's impending fatherhood was just revealed on Jan. 10.
This is the first child for the actor, 42, who currently stars in Little Fockers.

Thanks, OCW. No problem, Cookie. I made 3 or 4 typos while copying that article and had to correct them. It's been ages since I've done high production-type typing so I'm not so good myself anymore.  "I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' babies" ('Prissy,' actress Butterfly McQueen in Gone With The Wind). Me neither so I can't comment. It's interesting to picture Owen dealing with his teenaged son. I wonder what that will be like for them. I know Owen wants (and deserves!) privacy for him and his family but a part of me hopes to see photos of them. Sorry, just had to admit it. #dontknow# |

You're not the only one Sabina, I would love to see a picture of Owen with his baby son, and they may release one with all the interest to calm the media interest - calmed for a few hours anyway before they start chasing for their own pictures. I don´t like babies but I´d had one with the wilson bros LOL Tonks - That had me cracking up! LOL my pleasure. I hope my biological clocks hurry and meet the 40s soon so I don´t have to worry anymore about that. sounds awful I know but I don´t like kids, let alone babies...you can´t do anything at all anymore. but congrats to the happy dad and mom!! 18 hours of labor...18!!!! oh the pain.....*shudders* |
