Yes, I know it's filming. But we knew about this movie months ago, and it's only now filming. That just elongates our anticipation. (Wa-wa. Either I'm complaining there's no movies with my favorites in them or else a movie with my favorites is filming and I'm complaining).
Too bad about Ben & Christine.

Oh, ok.
I will be going back to Chi town Wednesday for work and am staying through Monday to watch my friend run in the marathon Sunday.
Maybe I will meander over to filming for a looksie loo.

On the beforethetrailer website they give daily filming locations for Little Fockers and it's updated to give 'now' locations which is helpful (for us, probably not for the film company!) Today they had lots of general filming pictures, but no sign of Owen yet. www.beforethetrailer.com/2009/10/little-fockers-on-location-pictures-from-oct-5/A picture of Ben Stiller and Jessica Alba but don't know if it's from filming or just them hanging around the set.

Floot, you did a great job in figuring out the Spanish. Just two things: * Quiero bailar means "I want to dance." To ask Do you want to dance would be 'Quiere bailar' or 'Quieres bailar' depending on whether you're using the formal or familiar 'you.' * Claro que si does literally mean something like something is clear but actually it's an expression that translates to "Of course." Cheers Tex! My Spanish is, to put it mildly, weak in the first instance and pretty rusty! So working stuff out is interesting. I've taken only one semester each of French and German but really enjoyed them. I've not taken any Russian; basically just taught myself the alphabet and learned a couple of phrases. If you want to learn any more let me know it's a great language! Not that I am biased... Owen studied Spanish at UTA and probably in high school too so I'm sure he's able to read it and pronounce it well enough that he doesn't need any coaching. I'll bet anything that his "Uno mas" in Shanghai Noon was his own idea. ;D Yeah I think you're right - it seemed like a very Owen-ish, ad lib-ish thing! I hope the news about Ben and Christine turns out to be wrong - I only just saw that. I guess an "inside source" can mean anything from someone trying to make a buck to genuine insider knowledge. Really sad news.

Cheers back "atcha," Floot. Thanks for the advice about Russian but, unfortunately, right now I have my hands full with other concerns. I'll keep it in mind though! In fact, I've learned there is a part-time job opening in San Antonio with Rosetta Stone to sell their product in kiosks in a shopping mall not too far from me. I'm seriously considering applying. I meet their job requirements (which are pretty low-level, lol), and the job would be totally different from my day job. A welcome relief to put it mildly! To get back on-topic, Rach, I don't think I've seen Jessica Alba in anything so I can't comment on her acting skills. If it's true Jessica can't act (and I'm putting Andie McDowell from Four Weddings And A Funeral in the "Can't Act" category), then my guess is that it's Jessica's youth, appearance, agent, and availability as the reasons she got the part. ;D

You know where I am! ;D Ahhh that sounds like it could be a good job... good luck with that if you go for it. I have no idea who Jessica Alba is or whether I have seen her in anything... According to IMDB she IS in the cast, as opposed to just visiting the set (that may not have been in doubt but I'm easily confused... )... oh she was in Never Been Kissed. I think that is the only thing ever that I have seen her in. But like Tex points out, mediocracy frequently doesn't stand in the way of a career in movies, especially for a young, attractive woman. Sad but true!

Good News! Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor have not split, despite reportsJanet Charlton's Hollywood blog has recently reported that the pair have broken up, but this has been found to be completely untrue. Janet wrote that Ben, 43, and Christine, 38, have: "Put their house on the market for a good reason: they're splitting up… Christine supposedly wants OUT of the marriage." Although the couple have put their home on the market, GossipCop.com has reported that they are not breaking up. The couple married back in 2000 and have two kids together, Ella and Quinlin. I'm sure it is probably true that the original rumor was untrue. Gossipcop.com was started by Dan Abrams, a high-profile attorney who has had shows on Court TV and NBC news. He has dated celebrities and therefore knows the lies that get spread on the internet, and thus started this website. He has debunked many untruths since starting this site. Also, when has Janet Charleton ever been right?? LOL. I'm so glad Dan looked into this and found it to be not true!

I'm afraid that I have more or less no idea who Janet Charleton or Dan Abrams are, but I'm happy to believe Dan is the trustworthy one in this instance

Lots of people seem really disappointed Jessica Alba is in it - I'm not sure I've ever seen her in *anything*... I'm hoping she is better than people are predicting!

I've only seen her in Good Luck Chuck and she was ok in that. I think the reason she gets a lot of bad comments on websites is because she has the two verys - very pretty and very slim. There are worse actresses around and I doubt she would have been chosen for her role if Ben Stiller thought she was going to be rubbish.
No sign of Owen yet but it shouldn't be much longer before he's on set.
