Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson Visit Cusco, Peru
(LIP-ir) -- Hollywood actors Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson arrived to Lima, Peru Tuesday evening and stayed in a Miraflores hotel until their early departure to Cusco the following morning. It was reported that they stayed at Hotel Antigua Miraflores with a friend that is not part of the movie industry.
Wilson and Harrelson arrived to Jorge Chavez International airport on a LAN flight from the US and immediately made their way to their hotel.
Having to catch an early flight to Cusco the following morning, the two Hollywood stars did not leave their hotel to enjoy Lima, Peru's nightlife, said a source for Terra Peru.
The two stars arrived to Cusco at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Peru's El Comercio daily reported that the actors were received by an older woman at an hacienda in the Sacred Valley.
According to locals in the city, the woman that received Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson performs rituals with Ayahuasca, a psychotropic brew made with plants from Peru's Amazon.
Owen Wilson has starred in movies such as Zoolander and Shanghai Kid. He made headlines in the US when he tried to commit suicide several months ago. Woody Harrelson, a marijuana activist, is best known for his role as the bartender on the long-running sit-com Cheers.

Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson Attack Reporters in Cusco, Peru
(LIP-ir) -- Cusco, Peru continues to attract Hollywood stars. On this occasion, Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson arrived to the famous Inca city not only to enjoy its beauty and majesty but also to visit a children's shelter they founded together.
Upon their arrival to Cusco Wednesday afternoon, they headed towards the Paucarpita shelter located in Calca, approximately an hour from the Imperial City. Harrelson and Wilson stayed at the shelter with the 40 children living there for several hours.
The shelter, which used to be the home of writer Clorinda Matto de Turner, is the home to dozens of children that are homeless in the Calca area. The two Hollywood stars fund the program, reported Peru's RPP News.
Although the stars were seen doing good deeds while in Cusco, it was also reported that they lost their cool with reporters Wednesday evening, attacking one and holding another against his will.
Nilo Romero, a cameraman for entertainment program Magaly TeVe was held by Owen Wilson in his room while a cameraman for Channel 5 was attacked by the two actors, reported Peru's La Republica daily. Those attacked have filed police reports against Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson.
In a report written for La Republica daily, Flor Huilca writes that the two Hollywood actors stopped several times to request help from Peru's police, asking them to keep people from following them. When the two stars were approached at a store, they were visibly irritated and once again requested police assistance, writes Huilca.
