Thank you very much for posting the updates, ladies! Hugs to all the Wilsonettes! #hug# Are you all OK? We are sending so much love to Owen, his brothers and their parents, I'm sure it will reach them. I think what the fans feel reach the celebrities much more than the fans imagine, you know? Thank you again for all the updates. You all are the best.

i liked the early bottle rocket footage and the brothers playing football..it made me sad listening to owen..
from the dallas morning news:
Dallas-raised actor Owen Wilson hospitalized
SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Owen Wilson was reported in good condition Monday after being taken to a hospital by paramedics this weekend, authorities said.
He "is here in good condition," said Cynthia Harding, a spokeswoman for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Wilson had initially been taken to St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica.
"I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time," Mr. Wilson said in a statement released through publicist Ina Treciokas.
No further comments were expected, she said. When reached by a Dallas Morning News reporter Monday afternoon, Robert A. Wilson, the actor's father, declined to comment.
It wasn't known why the 38-year-old actor was hospitalized, but a neighbor said a police car, fire truck and ambulance were outside Wilson's gated house around noon Sunday.
"He always seemed very happy to me. . . . When I heard the news this morning, I was totally shocked and, quite honestly, saddened," said Robert D. Yeoman, the cinematographer on Wilson's upcoming movie, "The Darjeeling Limited." "I hope he pulls through and gets whatever help he needs to get his life back on track."

I'm more inclined to believe that he sliped in the shower and hurt his head, or fell of with a glass in his hand. However, I read an unrelated study the other day that said that one in every two people would contemplate suicide in their lifetime, for whatever reason. That's shocking!
I had a friend who commited suicide a few months ago, and at first I was really angry, then I begin to feel really sorry, because he felt so desperate and alone to resort to that. My point is whatever the reason Owen is in the hospital, I'm glad his family is there for him.
Get well soon O!

It looks like he is not in intensive care now, but he is still in the 72-hour watch period: www.etonline.com/celebrities/news/49790/Owen Wilson Hospital Update August 27, 2007 05:52 PM PDT Owen Wilson is currently in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills. Sources give ET exclusive details on his hospital stay. Sources tell ET that OWEN WILSON is currently under observation at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. The sources say that for the first 48-72 hours, he'll be under observation. They also tell us that he has a 24-hour nurse or sitter staying with him and that he'll be in the hospital for at least four days. According to sources, Owen is staying in a ward which is referred to as the "celebrity" unit and has rooms described as suites. Several members of Owen's family, including actor brother LUKE, have visited him today.

I hope that Owen recuperates, and does what he has to in order to get (and stay) better. If that means taking a break from making movies for awhile - then so be it.
Here's wishing for a speedy and full recovery for Owen!

Here's a link to (what I think is a partly new) article with another quote from Ina Treciokas, his publicist: www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/news/e3i579f9e341448bd36a5b6256e6a77e201...Wilson will next appear onscreen alongside Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman in Wes Anderson's "Darjeeling," the tale of three brothers traveling together through India. Following a screening at the Venice Film Festival, the film will play in the opening-night slot at the New York Film Festival. Whether the actor will participate in any of the activities surrounding the film's opening remains to be seen, but Treciokas said Wilson already had completed long-lead press commitments on behalf of the film and "he's always committed to and supports his projects."

thetrack.bostonherald.com/moreTrack/view.bg?articleid=1019522Reports of Owen suicide try rock Hudson By Gayle Fee and Laura Raposa Tuesday, August 28, 2007 A distraught-looking Kate Hudson was whisked off the set of “Bachelor No. 2” in Chinatown yesterday after word broke that her ex-boyfriend, “Wedding Crashers” star Owen Wilson, may have attempted suicide on the Left Coast. “She looked upset,” said Someone Who Was There. “She was on the phone, pacing back and forth. Then her handlers came out, and covered her with an umbrella, and she was ushered into a white SUV and she took off.” Hudson, who split with her “You, Me and Dupree” co-star back in May, had been filming a scene with co-star Dane Cook inside Centerfolds, the downtown strip club. She has been in Boston for three weeks shooting the romantic comedy accompanied by her new beau, “Employee of the Month” goofball Dax Shepard. (There is more at the link above.)

I haven't posted until now because i was in deep shock and disbelief. I hope Owen gets better real soon and that his family are there to help. Read reports that he has already had visits from a bunch of friends. I hope they tell him what we are all thinking..........that we wish him well and that we all love him.
Its early in the UK and its already been on the news and its on the front pages of a lot of papers.
And i feel sorry for Andrew. If he was indeed the one who "found " him......how horrible that would have been
We love you Owen

I echo those beautiful words. #hug#
I only pray that they do just that. Give him & his family time, privacy & Respect to deal with this in their own way & time.
I haven't seen the ET footage (or any other).
It makes me very sad that anyone goes through something like this. (I've had family members in similar, not so hopeful situations).
It just reminds me that no matter what someone does for a living, they are all still human. I wish Hollywood & the papparazzi would remember that.
My prayers go to Owen, his family, his fans & everyone who loves him. My dearest wish is that he finds the help he needs to deal with this, and comes through this, to see what a beautiful, bright & exciting future he will have. #hug#
