I've just gotten home from an extremely long road trip, on which I didn't have Internet access for a week. I've been itching to get online to tell everyone that the Wilson's have their own park. Okay, it's not really their park, but I can pretend, can't I? I stumbled upon Wilson Island State Park in Iowa. If it was in a more exotic local, I'd say we should have a Wilson love fest there. If you want to know more about the park, visit www.iowadnr.com/parks/state_park_list/wilson_island.html.

Great find, Margot! Everytime I drive up to visit my sis in St. Louis, I pass by a sign for Wilson's Creek National Battlefield Park. www.nps.gov/wicr/

If only I'd known. . . I just drove through St. Louis today. I could have stopped by the Wilson's other park.

Hmm, I doubt it, Margot. Not on this particular trip. Wilson's Creek is in SW Missouri - not near Iowa. Someday though we could all do a tour of everything named Wilson in the country. OK, so I'm tired and slap-happy. My bedtime is overdue. Welcome home and welcome back, btw!
