Hi everyone, I noticed there were some other music appreciation threads here in Anything Goes, and I was wondering if anyone did a thread about music that makes you think about what it's like to be a fan on the message boards? Ever feel like being on the message boards has a really interesting set of emotional highs and lows? I have been getting into iTunes lately and I've been collecting songs for different aspects of life, and I made a few playlists with songs that I thought captured the feelings of being a fan on the message boards. (These songs are in an order that represents an emotional "arc", with some songs that have the happy-in-love feeling, and some songs that have the I-can't-believe-it-won't-work-out-for-real-feeling, and then some songs that have the feeling of resolution-acceptance-denouement. Many of the songs are about the Celebrity-Fan connection, if you imagine that connection applied to the Kubler-Ross stages of grief, and depicted in song!)
