FOR TEXASGAL:
Texasgal was spending the summer in Victoria, Australia with some friends. They decided to take her along The Great Ocean Road and show her all the beautiful beaches. When they arrived at Anglesea, they stopped for lunch and to have a swim there also.
“After Anglesea we will show you the “12 Apostles” which is a formation of rocks in the sea. Heaven only knows why they named them that. I guess that they look like people in the sea but I have no idea. They are huge rocks! Just wait until you see them.” Said Lotus, hardly leaving a breath between words.
“Don’t talk so quick Lotus” said Peak. “There is no way an American can understand us when we speak at our normal pace. They speak slower than us.” Peak teased Tex like crazy. “Anyway, Tex is from Texas and they are just so laid back there. Like Owen!”
Lotus and Peak laughed while Tex wondered what on earth they were saying.
“Speak slower girls or I will never understand you. I just want to have a good time here and not need an interpreter to help me understand everything you say.” Said Tex, and then she laughed back at the Australians.
“Okay, we are speaking slower now, then. We are going to hook you up with some men down here and then you can have a great time.” Said Lotus and then Peak added, “We certainly hope that you will have a good time anyway, unless it rains.”
Peak and Lotus left Tex on the beach and moved quickly. They went up to some hunky guys and spoke to them while Tex couldn’t see them.
“Go on guys. We got you down from New South Wales to see our beaches and now that you have seen many of them, it’s your turn to do us a favour. Go and speak to our friend who is from Texas.” Said Lotus.
Peak added, “Tag guys! Now you can lead the tour along the coast and you can’t get lost here. Just follow the signs and keep a map close to you.”
The girls went off and left the 3 Texans to their doom. Oops! To have fun that is.
Texasgal was sitting on a beach towel on the sand and looking at the coast. She was waiting for her friends to return from the shops and then go into the water with her. Instead of hearing her friend’s voices, she was amazed when she heard two men from Texas begin to speak to her.
“Hello there. Your friends seem to want to play a game of tag. They now want us to show you the coastline here but I am sure they will turn up later on. I hope so anyway.” Said a blonde haired man.
“Well, personally, I think that they are trying to play matchmaking games and hope that the three of us get together and have a good time. That is putting it mildly.” Said a dark haired man.
Tex couldn’t see who they were yet because the sun was in her eyes.
“What’s your name?” asked the blonde haired man.
“They call me Tex but that’s not my real name of course. My real name is Crystal.”
“Crystal! That is a really pretty name and it really suits you. You are so attractive and such a lovely lady.” Said the Texan with blonde hair. “Let me help you up off that towel so we can introduce ourselves properly.” Crystal was helped up of the beach towel and her eyes just about popped out of her head when she realised who she was speaking to. Crystal felt a bit giddy and her heart fluttered as she looked at Owen and Luke.
“My name is Owen Wilson and this is my brother Luke, but from the look on your face I think you may have guessed that.” Mused Owen.
“My brother is being a real lady killer and a big flirt. Watch out for him and his hands. He is so touchy feely it is really amazing but at least he has good taste. Owen behave, the lady doesn’t do a striptease!” Luke laughed and Owen looked as though he would die from embarrassment.
“Thanks Luke but I am not really that bad! Hey, bro. Just don’t try and break my nose again! Did you know that Luke broke my nose twice? First he hit me with a shovel and then a bat.” Owen laughed and Luke feigned a punch.
Crystal was delighted at the men’s antics and highly amused. They all got on like a house on fire.
They could also understand each other because they all came from Texas. At least they weren’t being driven crazy with those Australian accents. They didn’t need an interpreter after all.
Little did they know that Peak and Lotus where spying at them from a distance. A friend of Lotus also joined them. Boo lived in the same suburb as Lotus and was sent a message via her mobile phone (cell phone) to meet them in Anglesea and bring a camera. This was going to be a great match making game a la stalker photos session.
After Owen had fun teaching Crystal how to body surf, they all had fun in the sea. Body surfing and just plain mucking about in the water was great. Luke splashed Crystal a few times. “Who is the flirt now?” asked Owen while pushing Luke and trying to hold his bathers up at the same time.
“The seas are rough over here Owen. Hold onto those bathers, you might lose them this time and Crystal would be shocked to see anything………….ahem.” teased Luke.
He winked at Crystal and she blushed. It almost seemed like a competition for her affection and she was flattered. Her heart was also racing with all this excitement.
Later on they hired a boat to go on a cruise down the coast and it was joked that hopefully, they wouldn’t find the waters too rough. Many ships had sunk along the Shipwreck Coast in the early days and they didn’t want to follow that kind of a lead.
It was really great to see all the rock formations along the coast and Crystal was having a great time with the Wilson brothers. They didn’t realise how far they had travelled along the coast and were amazed to find out that they were almost at the “12 Apostles”.
“How did we get here so quickly? Time has certainly gone by fast and it looks as though a storm is coming in.” commented Owen.
“Have we enough petrol to get back? I mean you did check everything didn’t you Owen? Owen!” Luke gave his brother a look as if to say ‘typical’. He smiled at Crystal and shook his head.
“Well, you were supposed to check on that.” Exclaimed Owen.
Crystal interjected. “Boys, don’t argue.”
They both smiled and said not to worry about them. It was just plain old sibling rivalry and they joked to each other frequently.
“I would hate to say this but it is about to rain and we really need to get to a shore and land on the beach.” Said Owen.
“Great. This is where ships used to sink when they hit those huge rocks in bad weather. I don’t think this will happen to us but let’s hurry ashore.” Said Luke.
Crystal began to get tears in her eyes and was getting quite worried. Luke gave her a big hug and kissed her forehead, trying to comfort her.
