That sure is a sweet story, Remi!! Matt Damon is slashy btw. ( Sorry I really have to stop talking about slash on this board. But, but...didn't he say he had the poster of Brad Pitt up in his room and he would have fancied Brad if he had been a woman?!)

Okay - I have several favorite celebs besides #1 Owen! I'll just go into three of the top ones though. Keanu Reeves is one of them. The only reason I saw "The Matrix" was because he's in it. I must admit that I didn't like the movie. I tried to force myself to like it though because of Keanu. Although I liked "Speed" - it didn't turn me into a Keanu fan like it did for so many other people. The movie that made me a huge Keanu fan is "The Devil's Advocate". Mmmmmm. He's yummy in that movie. Due to my Keanu devotion, I even like movies such as "Hardball" and "The Watcher". I didn't like "The Gift" though - I couldn't even try to make myself like that one. Matthew McConaughey is another of mine. After seeing "A Time To Kill", I thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread! ATTK and "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days" are my two favorite Matthew movies. As much as I like him, there are a bunch of his movies that I coudn't bring myself to see. I did see "The Wedding Planner" - and it's a damn shame that J Lo had to pollute it! For that reason, I have yet to add it to my DVD collection. While I could deal with her being terrorized by a snake catcher in "Anaconda" with Owen, I couldn't tolerate her as Matthew's love interest in TWP. BTW - I've said it before, but wouldn't Owen have been perfect playing Benjamin Barry (Matthew's role) in "How To Lose A Guy..."? I read he was in talks for the role, but he committed to another movie instead (I think it was "Shanghai Knights" - which Owen had to do). That's okay though, because Matthew did a good job. Last, but not least is Josh Lucas. He's a hottie! Unfortunately, his resume isn't that vast (at least, not with movies to spark an interest). I've only seen him in "Sweet Home Alabama" and "The Hulk". I don't really have an interest in seeing "A Beautiful Mind". "Secondhand Lions" has been playing on Starz!, so I'll have to catch it one of these days. I thought "The Hulk" was terrible, and not worth sitting through to see his relatively small role. So, SHA is it for me - but there are plenty of yummy Josh moments in it to make do with. While on the subject - I'm assuming this can include favorite female celebs as well. My favorite actresses (in no particular order) are: Nicole Kidman Sandra Bullock Charlize Theron Reese Witherspoon Kate Hudson I'd love to see Owen teamed-up with any of these actresses!

Matthew McConaughey is another of mine. After seeing "A Time To Kill", I thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread! My brother-in-law used to play tennis against Matthew in High School. He doesn't like him to this day. Somehow, that just makes Matthew even more appealing to me... ;D I like your list of actresses...I'll have to work on mine...

That's so cool!
Why doesn't your brother-in-law like Matthew? Is it because he was too good at tennis? Was he a troublemaker? Why?
Just curious. ;D

Matthew McConaughey is one of my favorites, too. I liked ATTK and HTLAGITD also, but, my favorite is "Frailty". It's so creepy! I like "Reign of Fire", because, he's not just a pretty boy in that movie. Ooh, those Texas boys! If we're allowed to pick guys from the old days, my vote goes to Cary Grant. I can watch any movie he's in and enjoy it! BTW Teq, "A Beautiful Mind" and "Secondhand Lions" were both great movies.

Why doesn't your brother-in-law like Matthew? Is it because he was too good at tennis? Was he a troublemaker? (My BIL is the troublemaker... ) He said Matthew was conceited, and "not a nice person." Whatever... he probably just beat the pants off my BIL in tennis. If you like Matthew, I agree with BigO wholeheartedly, you have GOT to see "Reign of Fire"! Matthew's got the sexiest bald head I have ever seen. And muscles?! Lord, have mercy... I wish he was bald in all his movies now! This is what I'm talking about... www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0253556/RFC-4997.jpgWhy can't we pick guys from the old days? I love Paul Newman!

OMG Remi - that pic scared me! I'm typically not one to go for the Mr. Clean look on hot celebs who normally have a gorgeous head of hair - and I love Matthew's curls! If I want to run my hands over something smooth on a guy like Matthew - there are other areas for that! Before minds start wandering, I want to be clear that I'm not one who goes for the pre-pubescent look - but I'm not into getting lost in the forest either. I'm way too picky - I know! How in the world did this conversation take such a turn?! I know how: I start talking about my fav celebs, and my mind takes a direct route to the gutter!!! On second thought: a few of my friends at work and I listed the top 5 guys at work we'd be willing to bag (not literally - but, if we were unattached and the opportunity presented itself...). The guy at the top of my list is practically bald - and he looks good! So, maybe I'm one big contradiction of myself! Now I'm confused! I did like Matthew's muscles in that pic though!!! Remi & needingthebigO - I will definitely have to make a point of seeing "Reign of Fire". needingthebigO - I will make sure to see "A Beautiful Mind" and "Secondhand Lions".

I'm not into older movies usually - but there are a few that I do like.
My favorite old-time actor is Jimmy Stewart (I love "It's A Wonderful Life").
My favorite old-time actress is Audrey Hepburn (ditto for "My Fair Lady").
I also think Robert Redford was extremely good-looking in his prime!

Tequila, I second all your fave old-time actors/actresses. I would include Cary Grant, Spencer Tracy, Bette Davis, & Katherine Hepburn to the list too.
Ya know, it occurred to me that Matthew McConnaughey & Owen Wilson look like they could be related. I know they're not; they just look to me like they could have been brothers or cousins.
