Have any of you tried the spray "mystic" tan? I have a wedding coming up at the end of the month and was thinking of trying it.
Thanks in advance!!

I've read that it stains your clothes, and that it is kind of smelly. Don't know if that's true! Haven't tried it!

My co-worker is using it and the result is... Well, it's reacting like excess carotene in the body and it's turning her skin orange vs brown. Maybe it works better with dark complections, but what I'm seeing with her freckles is rather scary. Most of my high school friends, who laid out all summer, have had a bout with skin cancer at one time or another and that is enough for me. Sunscreen worshippers unite!

No, it's not my wedding. A co-worker is getting married on Memorial Day. I'm thinking of trying it on Friday night. I want a quick, fast tan and am too afraid to use the tanning beds for fear of skin cancer. I'll let you know if I do it or chicken out!

I've tried it and HATED it! It was the biggest waste of money. Of course, I think it had mostly to do with the natural color of my skin. I turned dark orange and it oranged the edges of my hair (even though I was wearing a shower cap). It also came off in 2 days in spots. I prefer the regular old sun. As a doctor, I should be promoting sunscreen, but let's be honest... Of course, sunscreen does save your skin from ugly wrinkles... I should start thinking about that... considering my birthday is Saturday ;D

Well, I didn't spray tan for the wedding. I had these horrible thoughts of it not working out the way I wanted it to and looking like a fool at the wedding. I'd rather be pale than speckled! Actually, I'm olive-skinned anyway, so I didn't look too pale! Considering the rainy weather we've been having lately, not too many people were tan. So, I was OK!
