My very Irish father in law, Patrick, informed me on my wedding day that, "While you shur nuff look grand in white, it's green you'll be wearing every St. Paddy's Day from now on, girl..". When he died six years ago, we had a traditional Irish wake, drink, tales and laughter flowing through the house giving fair salute to a great man. In the middle of every family hoilday, picnic, celebration- Pat would always pause, command attention and ask, "What do you suppose the poor people are doing? Owen and Luke would have adopted this wonderful man as their Irish Kumar and he would have made them laugh til their sides split...Here's to the Wilsons, Pat and all things IRISH...

HurlTomato,
That’s a touching story. Thanks for sharing.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everybody!
In Chicago, the river has been dyed green since Saturday. It was quite amazing, if you ever get the chance to go there during St. Patty's week, you really should. The parades are very fun. ;D

They dyed a whole river green? The poor fish, they won't know what's going on! I wanted to have a green beer, but didn't get the chance *sniff*
