Hi, Ladies - Nice to see you all! I have a ? I tried to send a PM to Polly. I think I may have sent it to myself Pathetic. I know. I typed the message and pushed send. Then I noticed that it said there was a message waiting for ME. When I tried to click on it, it didn't let me do anything. N/A is what is in the sender fields. Do you get an automatic copy of what you sent? Polly, did you get my email? Am I totally inept? Thanks for any clairification!

Hi Maisy Welcome to the board, nice to have you here. I did get your PM thanks. The first time you send a message (I don't know if it is a hic-cup) you always get that a message has arrived - n/a thing - I think it is your message box setting itself up. If you want to see a copy of the message you sent click on outbox at the top and when the recipient has read your PM the envelope will change from yellow to having a purple flap to show it has been opened. I hope that helps. Your definitely not inept - took me a while to get used to it too Welcome

*BUMP* Another envelope question.
Envelopes open when the person your stalking PMing opens up your mail, except admins, right?
According to my outbox nearly everyone on here is an admin, 'tis confusing for me as I never know who's received my pm's or not.
Does this happen to anyone else?

I've learned those open/closed envelope icons aren't reliable as an indicator that the recipient has opened your pm. I hardly pay attention to them anymore.
I haven't noticed that nearly everyone is identified as an Administrator. Hmmm, curious...

They hardly ever open when I send people PMs. And I KNOW they've read them because they answered what I asked in the PM. I have no clue why it works and sometimes it doesn't!

If your messages were truely erased there is nothing you can do on your end to save them. However, if the people who sent you such nice pms have not yet deleted them from their sent folders, they can resend them. You will have to speak with each person individually though, to have them resent.
