Church Ball is going to be released in Portland, Oregon on April 28, and it will be released this Fall in California! Also, it starts in Washington tomorrow (April 21st).

According to the Church Ball website, the movie can be seen... Fayetteville, and Raleigh, NC for one day only - June 12th Pensacola, Florida for one day only - August 28th Knoxville, Tennessee for one week only - starting June 2nd Tyler, Texas for one day only - June 8th El Paso, Texas for one week only - starting June 2nd. It appears as though you can pre-order "Church Ball" on DVD! They will ship to other countries as well! Click Here Also, the Church Ball website is either down, or removed. #dontknow# |

I Just Got Done Watching Church Ball And Its A Good, Cute Movie..Andrew Is Awesome!! I Cant Get Over How Much Him & Owen Sound Alike And Even Facial Expressions, Its Cool..Uncle Joe Has A Nice Part In The Movie, About 20 Mins In.. He Seems Like A Great Guy..Extra Features Included A Behind The Scenes, Andrew Talks Alittle About His CoStars Ect..Theres A Blooper Real..Not That Great Really But Fred Williard Is Hilarious..I Even Listened To The Audio Commentary.. I Was Superised To See The DVD At The Movie Store, I Had No Idea It Was Out, But Theres LOTS Of Andrew..Hope Everyone Can See It #hurrah#

 Thanks OFan!! I just checked, and it can be rented at Netflix, and ordered at the DeseretBook website a couple posts up. Netflix says it's a "very long wait" for me on that one. #duh#

Thanks for your review Owenfan. I thought Andrew and Owen sounded alike and had similar expressions when they appeared together in the Big Bounce. I thought it might be my imagination, because I knew they were brothers, but if you've spotted it too, it's not just me after all. I wonder if Church Ball will be released in the UK any time soon? I'll have to keep my eyes peeled. |

I finally watched this last night! It's a very funny movie. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it (based on all the guarded reviews). Extremely wholesome, though. It had a seventies feel to it (have any of you noticed?) Great cast - Fred Willard is always a joy to watch and I loved the cussing basketball player, Ross Brockley. He doesn't even get credit in imdb (I just noticed). I guess he's recognizable from the commercials (were they Holiday Inn commercials?) Andrew did a great job. He totally held the film together. He looks so natural on screen. And effen gorgeous! If anything this is a chance to stare at Andrew for an hour and a half! Plus extras. The flip chart scene was hilarious. "Serious Losers". Uncle Joe - what a surprise. I don't know why, but I didn't expect his voice to sound like that. He was damn funny, "You with the bangs". |
