Startip - What? Seriously? I have the blu-ray version of Whip It (but you knew that, didn't you?) and it has no commentary. There may be an expanded version that I missed so I am going to Amazon right now for further research...
*crosses fingers*
Have you watched all the extra stuff on TWBS dvd? Lots of ACW and baby bros, too. Yummy, yummy goodness. A weaker woman would lick the TV screen. (I only did that once, I swear!)

Thoughts from another pathetic person: Isn't it funny that someone can criticize us for being fans and for the way we write about the celebrity. Yet isn't it equally funny that someone in the business searches fansites in order to post critical remarks about the fans therein. I mean, like, what did this person expect? That we're supposed to hate entertainers? I would have thought fansites would be a sign of success. But this person seems to be complaining about success. (WTF?) Also funny how we can be critized for writing about hot bodies and gossip blogs yet our critics never bother to notice that our longest threads - the Day-To-Day Chat threads - never mention the Wilsons at all. The first D-T-D Chat thread grew to 100 pages, I believe, and the current one is now on page 203. Interesting that our critics seem to know everything about us except that one detail they purposely omit. Just worthless random thoughts from another pathetic person. Oh, and Cookie, the phrase is "thread-jack" ;D , a crime which I guess I just committed.

Well, I wonder what these critics would say about the fact that I refer to the Wilson's as my future husbands? Lol! A friend at work pointed out that we have Anaconda for sale, I pointed out that Owen, one of my future husbands is in that movie! It's just a known fact that I adore these guys, it's just one of my many crazy quirks that they put up with at work! Yeah, I pretty much watch all of the extras on all videos that are Wilson related. I watch the extras on anything I have time to watch on any movie, as they are usually quite entertaining. Cookie, let me know if you find a copy of Whip it with the extras. I could have sworn that I did see one on Amazon.

I apologize for just now reading further back in this thread. (This was a pretty good example of a friendly debate, btw. ) Just a reminder, if information is not public domain, please do not post it on this board. I know this has been bent (and even blown to pieces) several times in the past, but let's try to stick to it now. If you post new information, be prepared to back it up with a link or scan, or something. If you are unable to do so, it's probably better to not post it. If you are unsure, send me a PM. If anyone hasn't read it yet, please take a minute to read the "Board Guidelines thread". thewilsons.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Info&action=display&thread=732As to people judging fans, the Glass Houses quote comes to mind.

Texasgal - What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Men have been objectifying women for eons so it is time for us to have some fun, too, dagnabbit. Uh oh, Startip. Remi called you out. If you are going to refer to the Wilson's as your future husbands then you need to back it up with a link or a scan. I say you post a photo of one of the boys on his knees slipping a nice sparkly engagement ring on your finger. Waiting... Ever diligent, I have been researching the Whip It commentary issue. I was going to cure cancer today but priorities, right? Anyway, I think that the confusion comes in because in the Amazon sales description it lists Commentary but if you look at the back of the actual blu-ray there is no commentary listed. And as I have said, I own the blu-ray and have pored over it with a fine-toothed comb and turn up nada. So Amazon gets a big fat fail. I would return it with an angry note but nuh uh. They are not getting my Andrew back. No way. And just for Remi - here is a link to the back of the blu-ray box from Amazon. See! I am trainable: www.amazon.com/gp/customer-media/product-gallery/B002VPTJNQ/ref=cm_ciu_pdp_images_1?ie=UTF8&index=1(Shout out to Remi - I gather that this is your site and I say, "Well done!" So happy to have found such an excellent repository of all things Wilson. I don't do drama and as long as my oddball sense of humor does not do me in then I promise I will be no trouble to you!)

Cookie, you make me laugh! It's not my site, though. I'm just trying to take care of it for now. The site belongs to y'all, ultimately. And Startip, Yes! I demand a link, or a scan of your marriage certificate! ;D

Wow. I am totally falling down on my job. I have been so busy trying to spot Luke in Atlanta from my office window that I almost missed a twitter siting of THE sexy beast himself on the 25th, apparently in NYC.
TribecaFilm Tribeca Film We had a very amusing weekend sighting: Andrew Wilson, better known as "Futureman" in Bottle Rocket, looking like his Whip It character.
I wonder if they meant he was on roller blades or was driving a little dune buggy. LOL!
Anyway, we get so little on Brother Numero Uno that we need to cling to every little tidbit. I say, "Get out there, honey, and get spotted. We need more Andrew!"

Look! Look! Look! THE Sexy Beast got mentioned in Esquire. Happiness x 1,000,000! And do you see? It is under the title THINGS WE'RE THANKFUL FOR...A Different Wilson Brother. Heck, yes! www.esquire.com/features/man-at-his-best/owen-wilson-brother#fbIndex5*sniff* I am getting verklempt. This really gets me in the Thanksgiving spirit. :) This is actually very exciting stuff. The write-up is not very nice (just ignore it) but I like that picture. At least we got something because I was worried that cobwebs were forming in the Andrew thread and THE Sexy Beast deserves better. I am going to send a congratulatory e-mail to Esquire commending them on their excellent taste in photographs and b1tch-slapping them for their crappy commentary. Too bad People missed out and named Ryan Reynolds The Sexiest Man Alive. I bet he just barely edged out Andrew because of that silly Green Lantern movie. Just kidding! (Not really.)

Owen talks about THE Sexy Beast (aka Relief Pitcher #1) in an interview about How Do You Know! Sean O'Connell knew! He knew Andrew was in the movie. Excellent! We knew THE Sexy Beast had a good arm way before those silly Texas Rangers, though, didn't we? And a good chest, and nice legs, and a perfect backside and a...well, I could be here all day so: www.filmcritic.com/features/2010/12/interview-how-do-you-know-owen-wilson/Q: I actually read somewhere that your older brother is in the film as one of your teammates. A: Yeah, he plays a small part. He actually has a very good arm. I threw out the first pitch at a Baltimore Orioles game. They didn't have me go to the mound. I just sort of stood there and threw it in. Well, my brother saw it on ESPN, and he calls me to say, "What happened to your pitch? How much arm did you put on that? You weren't exactly bringing the heat there." So then he threw out the first pitch at a Texas Rangers game, and he threw it really hard, and the announcers were commenting, "Hey, can we maybe sign this guy up?"

Oh my gosh! THE Sexy Beast has been nibbled on by someone other than me! I cannot blame the shark one bit because the boy does look delicious, but I sincerely hope that he is OK. Craziness. Andrew! Honey! www.bestweekever.tv/2010-12-13/andrew-wilson-bitten-by-super-uncool-shark/Splash News is reporting that Andrew Wilson, of the eponymous “Wilson Brothers,” has been bitten in the leg by a shark this weekend while swimming near brother Owen Wilson’s house. Reports have stated that the injury is minor, meaning he hopefully still has his leg, but no word if he has been released from the hospital yet. This isn’t the first time Andrew has suffered an injury in an incident related to his brother Owen. As a child, Owen once fired a BB pellet into Andrew’s hand which remains there to this day. You have seen this pellet in The Royal Tenenbaums. And now, a shark attack. Which leads us to this next point: Hey world, give Andrew Wilson a break for God’s sake. He’s the least famous Wilson, and the grizzliest. Loosely translate that sentence into reading “he’s our favorite Wilson.” You look at him and think “Hot Homeless,” but then he opens his mouth and it’s like “Oh, right, Wilson brother.” Ahead, a quick interview with Andrew on the set of Whip It, a movie where unbitten shark legs are crucial to the plot. Also, any excuse to listen to a Wilson brother’s Texas drawl for 2 minutes.
