locke thanks so much for the video! It's funny to see the differences between Andrew and Luke's answers. Andrew will take cash payments and Luke is more philosophical in a Back to The Future sort of way.  cookie, add me to the list of people that love Andrew in Whip It. When he came driving up with Wilson Phillips blasting on his car stereo I knew I was going to like his character.  And if anyone here hasn't seen the movie it's worth it for that scene alone.  |

There's an amazing crotch worthy scene, look for the part during tryouts where he's sitting on the rail clocking the girls. Someone needs to get a screen cap of that & revive the crotch thread!

Startip - You inspired me to go home tonight, pour myself a nice glass of wine, and watch Whip It again with my finger ready on the pause button! There are some deleted Razor scenes in Special Features that are really cute, too.
I am still loving the video that Locke posted. Andrew + Shorter Hair = Yum!

So glad u all liked the vid,its only recently been put up on youtube yet it is quite clearly 5 or six years old..Andrew must have been offered more scripts after whip it. His part really stood out 4 me,but i still love him the most in the big bouce, i love when he is on the boat with his bf and calls him love,,its quite sweet to hear an American say that,being such a heavly used word in the UK. Lets hope lukes middlemen finds an audience then they might get funding 4 electric avenue..I quite like the wendel baker story.Such a shame it only made $275.000 because they both can clearly make a movie and luke really came out of his comfort zone 4 that role.

Locke, your estimate is right on. This video dates from either the first release of TWBS (2005) or the re-release in 2007. Andrew was truly brilliant in Whip It. You're right that we Americans don't usually use Love when addressing someone. Seems to be uniquely British. We'll say Dear, Dearest, or Darling, or any number of terms of endearment private to a particular couple. I wonder whose idea it was for Andrew to say Love. That was a nice surprise. |

cookie, I remembered the scene you mentioned as I was watching it. Unfortunately the shadows seem to fall right on the wrong spot so I wasn't able to get a great pic from it but I did the best I could. Oh well. Still lots of good shots. ;D

So you guys are a little bit lost when it comes to Andrew. Here's to clarifying a few things...
Andrew has actually had TWO babies in the last year - they are about 6 months apart, two different mothers. He is NOT a reliable guy or a dad, unfortunately, and has little to no respect for women. One of the mother's just chooses to keep things quiet because he is such a disaster. So...be careful judging based solely on looks or what you read/see on TV, magazines, etc. The REAL person isn't who you see on the big screen!

What is your source for this info? We are all smart enough to take the things we read with a grain of salt, but it would be nice if you could clarify how you got this info. I wouldn't consider Just Jared the most reliable source of info, nor would I believe that they are perfect just cuz the Wilson's are nice to look at. I will still choose to admire them from afar until I outgrow my infatuation or I have a truly good reason to dislike them.

Interesting turn of events in this thread today. Startip called it, this is clearly from the anonymous postings in response to this Just Jared article which was originally online in July 09 but someone decided to post a lot of allegations about his life in April: justjared.buzznet.com/2009/07/21/luke-wilson-shirtless-saint-tropez/Here's what I'm curious about. We have someone telling us how much the third mother is "keeping things quiet" - if she really is so interested in being private, we wouldn't be hearing about it here. We wouldn't see people posting at places like Just Jared about it. Obviously, either she isn't quite the ethical example one might imagine; or she would be very upset that you are posting her personal business on the internet. Which is it, I wonder. Now let's get into the issue of responsibility. We're all adults, we live in a world where people have sex as they choose. Women as well as men know about birth control. While Andrew is using poor judgment, why do we assume that these women bear no responsibility for their situation? It's not like they were an example from Judith Jarvis Thompson with people seeds flying through their windows (if you know that reference you win prize of the day.) They obviously chose to have sex without protection or with unreliable protection,and with a man they didn't know very well, if they have decided that they are upset with him in the meantime. While this doesn't excuse Andrew, it certainly does not make the women involved seem to be very good people either. Women should get to know the men they sleep with, and ideally women should have children with men for the right reasons after considering it carefully. It does not seem that these women have done any of that properly, and they bear responsibility for their situation as well as Andrew. We've said it here before and we've said it again, these guys are targets. There are people who try to bring lawsuits against them to get rich. There are women who will try to get pregnant with their children so that they will have a set income while they are raising those children. We don't have to agree with anything that either Andrew or these women are doing. But none of this has anything to do with our appreciation of what Andrew, Owen or Luke do professionally. Now let's recap what we've seen Andrew doing over the past couple of years: planning a movie with Luke, traveling with Owen, supporting his brothers, and being there for them. I cannot fault him for that. I can question his taste in women while at the same time respecting his work and appreciating the undeniable fact that he is a fantastic brother. So, if we're not too upset by your "clarification", I hope you won't be surprised. |

So Ralex, Andrew has 3 boys now and if it's true then are you a friend of one of the mothers or actually one of the mothers having a moan? Although I can say it's none of my business and it isn't, I won't lie and say if Luke or Owen had children I would be nosey enough to want to see if the sprogs resembled their fathers. But I think it would have leaked out by now if either of them were dads, unless like Ronaldo they paid millions for privacy - well CR took the baby as well.
As Sugar says both adults should have a responsibility before the baby is born and afterwards.

I thought andrew had one child. Anyway i don`t know him or what kind of person he is..Like ppl who say owen is gay,i don`t know if he is and almost certainly never will..I just admire them for their movies and really admire them for not playing the hollywood game..They make a movie then go away..The best way to be a movie star i think.

I am always happy to hear about Andrew if the facts seem true and come from a reliable source. Are you connected to the parties in question? I would read the comments at Just Jared but damn, I can never get past those shirtless photos. Ha! |
