I new it, hopes dashed again...I thought for a milli second there, that Luke had placed a personals ad here.... Luke in a snuff film Then again, there's bound to be lots of flesh and hair on show Can't wait, I think we should start petitioning for it to be made right away.

Thanks Remi. We're usually around 4 weeks behind release dates in the US so I'm guessing it will be released here in the UK about the middle of May 2007.

SJP dropped out of Vacancy, and Kate Beckinsale is replacing her.

Thanks Remi--- Oh my! I think Kate is beautiful. I loved her in the BBC version of Emma and Cold Comfort Farm. I wonder why SJP dropped out. I read in In Touch that she dropped out cause she's pregnant. But you certainly can't trust what you read in that rag.

I love Kate, too! And now I have even more reason to envy her. Honestly, I'm not sure of the pairing of Kate and Luke - they are too beautiful, too perfect. Unless that's what they are looking for.

Hmmm.... good point, Remi. Unless as you say, that's what they wanted. Maybe the casting people think their good looks will elicit more sympathy from the audience? I dunno. Just a thought that popped into my noggin.
I can't wait to see Luke do this because it will be a new genre to see him in.

Here's an interview with Vacancy's director, Nimrod Antal, and a clip of his previous film, Kontroll. Apparently Luke has been shooting this film for the last three weeks. (Learned this on imdb) Click Here for clips.

Great clip on Nimrod Antal... Loved his comments about his leading man, Sandor Csanyi:I had to play it twice just to make sure he was still talking about Kontroll and not Vacancy! Sounds alot like a familiar favorite around here. HT#clover#
