Whoohoo! I am so happy that these two will get to work together! I know that they were both in Old School but they didn't get any scenes together. This sounds great! Thanks Remi! Beth

This is great news- Modified to keep this thread on topic- I am worse than a kid sometimes with tangents and misdirected conversation

So...hmmm....who will be teaching Luke how to speak with a Canadian accent, eh?
We Canadians have our own little linguistic styles and cultural habits that require hours and hours and hours of practice.
Any Canadian Wilsonettes up for the task? :-)

CG, I think there's a definite Scottish twang in among the Canadian accent. Certainly all my relatives and extended family who live there sound Scottish.
Consider me up for the role of voice coach, really it wouldn't be a problem ;D

Is Luke going to be Canadian or specifically Quebecois?
As one who had a Canadian father, grandparents, and friends, I think of the two accents as completely different from each other and distinct.

All right, furg, we'll sign you up as one of Luke's tutors! You'll need to pick for which shifts you'll be available. You raise a good point, texasgal. If Luke's character is a Quebecois, then he'll need to learn zee proper French-Canadian accent. I'm sure after a week or 2 with all of the Wilsonettes in old Quebec City tutoring Luke, we'll all be speaking with fabulous francophone accents.

You raise a good point, texasgal. If Luke's character is a Quebecois, then he'll need to learn zee proper French-Canadian accent. My French great-aunts would just cackle around their thick accelerated accents and give their infamous ooh-la-la if confronted with a handsome tutorial challenge dealing with the likes of one Luke Wilson... They gave up on me after four years of high school French and simply hoped the best inheritance was configured in the bedroom. Maybe they knew my language aptitude was irreparably doomed by Norwegian titration and eventually compounded by Irish impregnation. Long live the Irish... and the French boudoir! I'm just a lost cause- wishing Luke bon chance... a la Francais!Au revoir! HurlT ;D
