Hello all!
When I rented Old School ages ago I watched all the special features including the actor's studio spoof. I then bought the dvd right after and haven't watched the actor's studio spoof again until just now and I swear my copy is missing scenes. Am I crazy or didn't the actor's studio spoof have Luke and Will Ferrell arguing over money Luke supposedly borrowed with Will Ferrell telling him he was getting his lawyers on him or something? And wasn't there a question like "what turns you on?" where they all basically answered something generic (except for Will Ferrell who gave a great answer on that one!). Also when he asks the question about what would you like God to say to you doesn't one of them answer "you're not dead"? Were those scenes on something else and I'm just thinking it was on the old school dvd? When I rented Old School all they had was the full frame version but it was the unrated one, the one I bought is the widescreen unrated one, would that make a difference? I just swear that the version I saw on the rented one was longer and had more questions. If this has been asked before I apologize, I checked the threads but didn't see anything on this, I could be blind though, as well as crazy... Anyone have any insight into this?

My DVD has everything you mentioned. I can't believe they would edit it - how awful. It's the funniest thing on the DVD in my opinion ;D

There were 2 versions released. Luke talked about it on Carson Daly's show last year.

I have the unrated version and it contains the entire Inside the Actor's studio spoof. But now that leaves me wondering. Am I going to have to purchase the rated version just to make sure I am not missing anything?

scultpuresound - that's the exact version I have too. That's the one I have. I remember getting sucked in wondering if that part was true because they were so serious about it. I thought the cameras had just kept rolling as the ad libs got testier. It goes without saying that Luke looked fabulous in it...

grrrr, now I need to buy it again, I want the full version of the spoof, I bought this one ages ago so I can't return it now, I'm just afraid I'll get a short version of the spoof again. I bought my copy at best buy I wonder if I should try to get a version from somewhere else. I can always sell my old copy or give it away. Did anyone else end up with the short version of the spoof? Everyone seems to have gotten the full thing.

I have the "unrated" version, too, with the entire Actor's Studio spoof on it. LOVE IT!! Like Luke said on Carson, "You're going to want to have both!" (Or something like that!)

i know no one has been here for months, but did anyone figure out which version was the better one?
i was going to buy the unrated version, but then i remembered seeing this thread a while ago, and now i'm just confused!!
also, there is a Will Farrell dvd set coming out in april with Anchorman and Old School for $25 at Best Buy (that's the only store i checked) so do you guys think that it'd be better to get that set, or just get Old School in whatever version is the better one (i haven't watched Anchorman yet)
