Hello Wilson fans! I know you all have talked about it before but I wanted to ask you all what you thought of Home Fries? That's one of the three Luke movies I own and I absolutely love it. I'm not a particular fan of Drew Barrymore but I liked her character. And I usually don't like sweet sappy love stories like this one kinda was but it was cute! I loved how Luke's character was so sweet and he really liked Drew's character. One of my favorite parts of the move was when Sally was going into labor and the doctor asked if Dorian was the father-to-be and he said "no but I'd like to be the father-to-be" and Sally says "You can't be the father and the brother at the same time that 's the kinda thing that messes kids up!" Such sweet movie. And I loved the relationship between Dorian and his brother Angus (Jake Busey). It was cute how they kept picking on each other and they still slept in bunkbeds! And they're grown men! I love that movie. Anyways. If any of you have seen it please reply. Talk to you later! ;D

Yes, I've seen Home Fries twice - both times on network TV. The really cool thing was that I didn't even know it was going to be on. I just felt like watching a movie, turned it on, and there it was! I like the movie too, LaTissa. But I always thought: why couldn't OWEN have played Angus' part? I mean, if they wanted a blonde for Dorian's brother, they'd still have it! I think the fact that they really are brothers would have added to the chemistry between them. Perhaps Owen wasn't available at the time Home Fries was filming. And yeah, I thought that was so funny how in so many ways Dorian & Angus were still so boyish - shared bedroom, bunk beds, etc. ;D

texgal, the imagination of Owen playing the part of Luke's brother is melting me down......
Ahhh Owen & Luke!!!!! They just have the best chemistry ever! I personally think their chemistry as best mates in BR and TRT are the best and the sweetest ever in the entire history of movies. (Of course I haven't seen all the movies in the history, but I wonder, how can anyone have better chemistry?)
I really hope they play brothers sometime. I mean, playing Wright brothers is very good but hopefully something with much more screen time!!!
I am daft enough not to have seen Home Fries yet. I think I will buy the DVD today. Thank you LaTissa for drawing my attention to this movie!

I'm sure you will love Home Fries. Luke is just the sweetest thing in it. The plot of the movie is good, and really interesting too. It's interesting to watch the plot unfold.
Owen as Angus would have added just the best dimension!
Home Fries was filmed in Bastrop, Texas. It's just east of Austin, the piney woods area of Texas. Very pretty. I went up to Bastrop once and kept my eyes peeled for anything that looked like the movie. There was a fast food burger place in Home Fries, but it turns out it was built just for the movie. It does not exist now. It was built for the movie, then torn down. What a shame. I wish it was really there! There is a highway that I recognized from a scene at the end of the movie. It's TX Highway 71 (or is it 17?), a divided highway. Other than that, I couldn't place anything.

Awww.......poor baby. Sounds like he relived this kind of moment all over again during TWBS premiere at SXSW. Although I bet it was worse for TWBS.

Sounds like he relived this kind of moment all over again during TWBS premiere at SXSW. Seems like he's often a bundle of nerves. How sweet!
