The movie is getting some decent reviews - I was worried with the delay that the reviews were going to be awful. Aint it cool newsCinemablendGranted the movie was not released to critics for review.

I like your enthusiasm, Beth! ;D I am with you - I think this movie is going to be a huge hit among a specific audience (and I include myself). I LOVE Office Space. I love that Judge took a hit at Fox in the film - with it being the ONLY news source in 2505 (and that made it to the final cut of the film) . But it makes you wonder... with all the controversy over this film.

Greetings! I am new. I have been reading everyones posts and enjoying every bit. I guess I am ready to contribute. I went to see Idiocracy last night. My son and I drove 40 miles. It was great, even though it was just the two of us and two other people in the theater. We laughed through the entire movie. Luke looked great!! Very skinny. I hope more people will go. There wasn't even a poster in the theater, or any local advertising. Just thought I would add my 2 cents, Tess

I too love Mike Judge - Office Space and isn't he responsible for King Of The Hill? Great show!
Welcome to the Wilsonettes, Tess! Glad to have you aboard. May I ask what cinema you saw it? Was it in Texas?

The Regal cinema in Douglasville Ga. I was really shocked that it was playing out here in the sticks.

Wow, that's great, Tess. I didn't know it was playing in GA. I'm going to see it in Austin - maybe this weekend or else a week from now. Glad to hear you liked it and that it's getting such favorable reviews - although I would have seen it anyway just to feast my eyes on Luke's beauty.

Welcome Tess! #welcome#
I've been thinking that it might not be such a bad strategy on Fox's behalf to treat the movie this way. The internet buzz is already growing. The personal reviews / comments that are positive on imdb are raving about how great this movie is. They could be strategizing for a cult hit. #dontknow#

I have some quotes from a whole bunch of Idiocracy reviews over at the Frat Pack Tribute site - www.the-frat-pack.com. Mostly positive, a few negative. Some just funny.

Thanks Kevdo! I love how one reviewer, who loved the movie, asked why Idiocracy had been hidden away like Suri Cruise. Beth

Today's paper has the movie showing in 16 theaters in the Atlanta area. Still not one bit of advertising.
