Gage51 -- You and I think alike. I referred to Natasha's helmet hair. And Luke's affectionate term "dog sh*t". She's a beautiful woman, but she looked masculine and so unattractive in this film. Yes, I thought you gave a good description of her! -I was just repeating what you'd said. ;D I didn't know that she once had beautiful long hair-I saw a picture of her dressed like an alien or something for some movie-her hair was gorgeous. The cut she had in this movie was soooo unflattering. I enjoyed Janeane and Bruce McKinney and of course looking at Luke was no hardship so I'm glad that I got this movie. Beth

I haven't seen a lot of Luke's early films or if I did I can't remember them, but I will try and find this film and the two he was in with Drew Barrymore.

Oh yeah, Luke was so sweet and enchanting in Home Fries.
I was sorry to learn that the burger joint from Home Fries was built just for the movie and was torn down after the movie finished. I always wanted to go there (Bastrop, Texas, east of Austin on Highway 71) just so that I could take a photo of it and say I'd been there. I recognized the section of Hwy 71 where the chase with them in the pick-up truck and the helicopter near the end of the movie was filmed.
I always wondered if I could find the little white house where Drew's character lived. Haven't found it yet. Looks like it could have been anywhere near Bastrop.
