This interview is great! He talks a lot about Wes Anderson and his family.
OK -- a premiere in Texas? Who's up for a road trip?
I thought it was interesting that he said he wouldn't have got the money to make TWBS if Owen hadn't been in the movie.

Yeah, I thought that was sweet of him to say that-he seems very matter-of-fact about it. I also thought it was interesting when he talked about how his father took all 3 of the boys to see movies no matter if they were rated R, PG, G. He talked about his Aunt Sheila taking them to see "Looking for Mr. Goodbar" and he said that he didn't think he'd take his nephew to see that kind of movie today. Very interesting interview. You could hear him laugh quietly when the interviewer asked him about Wes wanting to be a member of the family. I also liked hearing about the skits that he and Andrew and Owen would put on after dinner. Cute stuff. Beth

I'm so glad you all got to listen to Luke's interview with Terry Gross. I heard the announcement on my clock radio this morning at 5:00 that he'd be on today so I jumped onto the computer to let everyone know asap.
I was going to post the link to their website tonight, but Lib has already done that for me. Thank you, Lib!
Interesting that, without his beautiful face to gaze on lovingly, I naturally paid more attention to his voice. It seemed lower, deeper than I remember. Interesting...
Interesting interview: I learned things about Luke I didn't know before.
Modified to add: I'm up for a road trip! Maybe we could make that event our Wilsonette's Reunion?

My sister called me at work this morning and said, "You have to listen to Luke on NPR at 11:30 a.m.!" She then called me to tell me he was on earlier than she thought. I guess for some reason she thought he'd be on second.
I was so excited to hear about TWBS being released! Yippee! I'm up for a road trip/plan ride! LOL!
It was a great interview!
I'm so happy to see Luke in the spotlight again after a small drought!
