It's on Page 231 of the August 2005 issue. There is a really cute picture of a really cute and young Luke with his grandmother.... The caption says:
Luke Wilson - Photographed at age 7 with his grandmother, Rosemary Cunningham, in Massachusetts, 1978
He says: "My grandmother and I were just getting done picking plums in the late afternoon. She was a great person. She would take you to cool places, like the ocean during a storm, or Plymouth Rock, or a cranberry bog. She loved to be outside. I'm still looking for a woman like her."

No kidding. And I'm looking for a man like him. I bet he was her favorite. Little Luke. "Those other two just play too rough. Come with me, Luke. We'll go pick some plums."

Oh my God, look at that cutie! From pictures, it looks like Laura is tall and slim like her mother here. What a great memory for Luke. I'm sure all the boys have fond memories of their grandmother. Beth

Thanks Natalie and OSG! I heard from a friend who saw the spot on an entertainment show, that the gal who introduced the Instyle piece said something like... "Despite being oh so in love..." Hmmmm. I wonder how his current girlfriend feels about the fact that he's still looking for a girl like his Grandmother. I guess it would be quite clear at this point that she's not the one. Oh Well.

I thought THE SAME THING! He's probably using the excuse that they asked him that a long time ago and it took a while to go to print.

I thought the same thing as I was looking through my Instyle last night! I bet that's how Laura will look when she's older!
That certainly was quite a "Wilson Issue" this month. That photo, another photo of Luke and some pictures Owen took. Ooh-la-la!

I really love that vulnerable "tummy thing" he's got going on at age 7- Oddly similar to glimpses of that tummy thing he still entertains with a Rolling Rock in those very long adult fingers...HT Just an observation, BUT-this lovely lady does not exactly remind me of any acquaintance of Mr. Hefner... Luke might have better luck leaving the mansion and taking his pail down to the local plum patch...HT ;D

Forgive the double post but did I mention that I have a helluva plum jelly recipe...passed on from several generations of plum-picking, blueberry, wild raspberry, chokecherry and gooseberry harvesters? We actually walk out into the big woods with bear bells on to get 'r done... HurlT ;D
