I only heard about it second hand ( from this really cute boy who keeps pestering me ;D). I wanna know what Luke was wearing! I didn't have the heart to ask my informant.

Natalie,
If I remember correctly--like I said it was late--he had on a gray suit with a light blue shirt underneath. Good colors on him! His hair looked longer and flat and he doesn't have any facial hair. I thought he looked nice. Then again, he could be covered in mud and ripped clothing and I'd think he looked great!
They only showed his upper half so I can't comment on his shoes! ;D

Darn it all! I rely on all your information and imagination. I can't see anything downunder. I wish that they would put more things on cable.
Give me something more for my imagination. Please.

Oh well! I may not be able to see him in your commercials but at least I can see Hugh Jackman in one out here. They also put American entertainers in commericals out here.
Sheesh! Send a few of your commericals our way please!

No Owen... Oh well. Luke was a good sport in an otherwise very dull show.

--- U2 dull? These icons are Irish blokes with legendary talent and always a message in the music! I watched them on C-Span earlier this week at Clinton's rainy Library opening and heard them sing about the hands that shaped America with 4-former presidents listening to their rendition...They are on the main track when it identifies American Idealism. Ever heard Pride (In The Name of Love?) Dull? Watch that tape again. I know the Wilsons will....
Luke was funny, and fine, and fabulous, dressed in something other than brown dammit! Willow green, bru and blond wigs- I loved the skits and a chance to see him stretch that comedic ability. He looked like he was having a great time and he was hottttt! I was too! ;D HT

Now that I know what SNL means, why can't this show be put on cable or just sent to Australia. We get most of your TV shows anyway. Quit sending some of your reality TV shows though.

It is on Cable in OZ. Arena - Channel 28. They play repeats and new eps, but you have to wait a couple of weeks.

I also love U2, so I would have really liked to have seen it. I'm glad Luke did a good job! How was his monologue? ;D

Luke was amazing. He did a great job. The monologue was funny, but had technical difficulities. Luke was so professional and was able to keep it going. He claimed he had just gotten in 15 minutes ago from partying all night long with Sanchez (one of the SNL players). They had camera phone pictures of different things that happened the night before. There was one picture of Luke kissing an elderly woman and then the next picture was him kissing her husband. I was so proud of Luke. He was professional, you could tell he had practiced his lines and was subsequently able to 'deliver' them. Which if you watch the show, a lot of guests ruin skits because they are stumbling over their lines. Luke seemed comfortable and at ease. They had him doing some goofy skits with several silly wigs. Again Luke delivered. In one scene, the other players started laughing, but Luke maintained composure and stayed in character. In another skit, Luke had a dog and the dog was not cooperating. Luke, again, totally handled it. There was one very inspired skit - the last skit. Luke is with two other guys at a hotel bar, drinking excessively. They are at a conference for work. They are doing lightening rounds of drinks and with every round they say the exact same thing they said in the first round, except with each drink what they say gets more surreal and insane. I was laughing out loud. Luke was flippin' amazing! There was another mentionable skit wherein Luke and his girlfriend were at dinner with another couple. The guy was an old friend of Luke's that he's known since grade school. They know each other so well that they finish each other's sentences. They surprised their respective girlfriends by feeding each other - in a very intimate manner. At one point, Luke licked sauce off the guy's finger. Another time Luke's last bite was so hot, the guy held up an ice cube for Luke to lick. U2 played three sets! My favorite part of each set was that Luke introduced them looking sexier than I've seen him in a long time. U2 were amazing as well. They had the audience out of control. The last set was at the end when all the players are on stage and the girls from SNL were crying. I taped the show and can't wait to review it. I knew Luke would do well, but I was overwhelmed by how comfortable he seemed as though he does this every week. He was able to save bad skits and hold up skits when there were technical difficulties. Yay! I hope someone will be able to produce some screen shots!
