Oh Wow! Ozarka, where did that article come from where Owen said his ancestors are from Dublin (my home city)? ViS, I'm so sorry, it wasn't my intent to not answer your question! Here's the link to the article: www.crankycritic.com/qa/pf_articles/owenwilson.htmlIt's an older article from when he was doing "Behind Enemy Lines" , I think. There's only a couple of lines where he talks about Dublin. Enjoy!

The only thing better than Luke in a kilt would be Luke in a kilt whirling like a Whirling Dervish. Now there's an x-rated dance for ya, eh? Whoo-hoo! Btw, Fergie, you're not the first person who thought the Wilsons might be of Scottish origin because of the Wilson name. I thought that too. I'm pretty sure (by deduction) that their mum Laura's maiden name is Cunningham which is also Scottish.

Andrew is a golfer too but not Owen that I've heard of. Maybe Andrew & Luke got golf from their dad in which case there's 3 golfers out of a family of 5. Seems like men in kilts would wear some kind of diaper, but I'll take 'em without! First footing! I'm so glad to hear confirmation on that custom. My g/f in Canada (whose mum was Scots) told me about this and that she learned it from her mum. My g/f is blonde and needed a brunette to do this for her first New Years in her new house. I'm brunette and happened to be visiting her then. I was so proud to do this for her! ;D Hoo-wah, Luke is perfect for a first foot and a first anything.

Yeah, Fergie. I just went back and read through this thread and I see where you confirmed the wonderful bit of trivia that Scotsmen are indeed wearing nothing but the kilt: Excellent!

Actually, Owen can play golf and probably does now and then. He has mentioned that he got that inhale and exhale joke in Shanghai Noon from a friend. When he was putting on a green his friend said something like "Do you inhale or exhale while you are about to putt?" Hence the jokes in Shanghai Noon. Was it inhale when shooting or exhale? I can't remember but after all the inhaling and exhaling, a person might need mouth to mouth. I would be happy to stay near the men if anything goes wrong with their breathing............................. (No! Not the father.................... )
