Luke is going to have a small cameo in a new HBO comedy. Here's the article.
Great writers, director and an amazing cast. I wish Luke was going to have a larger part.
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - HBO has lined up eight episodes of the Hollywood comedy "Entourage." The series, from executive producer Mark Wahlberg, is set for a July premiere.
"Entourage," originally ordered back in November, stars Adrian Grenier ("Harvard Man") as Vince, a rising young movie star. The series focuses on Vince and his circle of friends and associates both outside and inside the entertainment industry.
Jeremy Piven ("Old School," "Ellen") plays Vince's agent Ari. Kevin Connolly ("Antwone Fisher") is Vince's friend Eric, while Kevin Dillion ("Platoon," "24") co-stars as Vince's half-brother drama, another aspiring actor.
Debi Mazar ("That's Life"), Samaire Armstrong ("The O.C.") and Monica Keena all guest star, with Mazar playing a publicist, Armstrong and agent's assistant and Keena Vince's ex-girlfriend.
"'Entourage' is a hilarious romp through the absurdities of modern-day Hollywood, drawing on the experiences of industry insiders," says HBO Entertainment President Carolyn Strauss. "This show will make perfect summertime viewing."
The Hollywood setting allows for cameos by the likes of Jessica Alba, Luke Wilson, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman.
Wahlberg ("The Italian Job," The Funky Bunch), working on his first major production venture, will also make a guest appearance in the show's first episode.
The pilot for "Entourage" is by Doug Ellin ("Kissing a Fool") and Steve Tompkins ("The Simpsons"), with David Frankel ("Sex and the City") directing.
