I've never been turned away from a club, nor been to a club that has a "list". Mostly because I don't think clubs like that exist in NZ! We have trendy clubs that'll turn you away if you aren't dressed up enough, but a list to get in? How on earth would you get on a list for a night club? Phone them up for a reservation like a restaurant? LOL. I've no idea, but it doesn't sound as much fun as the spontaneous pub-crawling I am used to.

Another little tidbit from Dallas Morning News that suggests Luke and Soundis are still together ;D www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/fea/entertainment/columnists/apeppard/stories/021604dnovePeppard.50c45.htmlWilsons go global for love 09:56 PM CST on Sunday, February 15, 2004 By ALAN PEPPARD / The Dallas Morning News Sheryl Crow is canoodling with Lance Armstrong, and Gwyneth Paltrow is expecting a baby with Brit rocker Chris Martin . Their Texas exes, Owen Wilson and his kid brother, Luke, are taking their love lives international. Luke (Old School) has been in and out of Dallas with his French girlfriend, one-named model Soundis. As for Owen, he's been keeping company with 24-year-old Argentine salsa dancer Carolina Cerisola, former member of the dance group Yemaya and the 2000 Mayan nightclub Salsa Champion. (She was the featured dancer in Marc Anthony's music video, "I Need to Know.") When she recently pulled a hamstring in L.A., she took a break from her dancing career and recuperated with Owen on the Italian set of The Life Aquatic, directed by his writing partner and college roommate Wes Anderson.

LL- I wish Luke all the happiness in the world and truthfully he has to be his own compass in that regard. I also believe that from all that he has indicated, he's looking for someone with some goals and maturity toward family and longevity-- Personally, I had no clue what that meant at 22. Soundis might very well know her own mind... I do not know enough about her. I only know what Bob Wilson found out... his girl was behind the camera and not in front of it. I have to believe that sensitive eye, heart and perception was what attracted him ultimately. If Soundis has this firmly fixed in her persona then- Congrats Luke! You picked a good one.
Sorry if this sounds too serious for HT, but I want this guy to be whacked out happy with the girl of his dreams. He deserves someone very special and I hope that Soundis is the one he hopes for...

I totally agree with you, Hurltomato!
My boss is 34 years old and was dating a 22-year-old. For a few months he was totally in love with her and this was the girl he was going to marry. (He was previously married for 8 years to someone who was 17 years older than he was.) Well, after awhile he didn't talk about her anymore. When I asked him what happened, he said she was just too young. She always wanted to party and go out and drink. He wanted to spend more time at home with family and friends in a more quiet setting.
I realize everyone is different, but I, too, did a doubletake when I heard Soundis was only 22. I know how much Luke wants to settle down and have a family. Does a 22-year-old model really want to do this? Maybe she does. Who knows!
Ultimately it comes down to what makes Luke happy. Only he'll know if she's the one.
Just my opinion.

Good point, November! I forgot what I felt like when I was 22. I've always wanted to have a family, so I guess if I was 22 and met Luke, I would have wanted to settle down. But, now that I look back, 22 would have been too young. I guess maybe the "model" part is what gets me. Eh, I'll get off my high horse now. I hope Luke is happy in this relationship.

Just a point of clarification on my last post--I did not mean to infer that chronological age indicates maturity. Lord knows there are plenty of 40+ midlifers acting like horny fourteen year-olds!! I wanted to express that in front of the camera is a different point of view than behind the lens. There is a surface perfection in front, a veneer to sell or influence. Behind the lens, the photo journalist looks under the surface to see the greater meaning and takes the picture that reveals the true story. Perfection vs. real life...We all knew what point of view Luke grew up with-we've seen her photos. It is my greatest hope that any girl Luke teams with has those qualities... Look what kind of children she raised.

I got married at 22. It was maybe a bit young to settle down, but you kind of grow with someone that way. And I've made it 18 years because I was smart enought to marry someone much like Luke - very family-oriented & down to earth. I believe they can make it work if that's what they really want. Here's to Luke's happiness & many little Lukes running around!

Amen! OK, maybe I'm a little jealous of Soundis! I'll admit it. In my eyes, no one is good enough for Luke, but if in HIS eyes she's the one, then I wish them only the best.

The word MODEL is always a big red flag for me. I unfairly stereotype them as being shallow. I know...I'm being shallow about being shallow ;D BUT, have you noticed how many people are billed as models or supermodels when you have no idea who they are? JUST ONCE I'd like to see an attractive woman's name followed by, animal shelter worker who, in her spare time donates hand-crocheted baby blankets to a local shelter. I won't hold my breath
