I just saw Marley & Me, it was good! Owen was looking as hot as ever, of course! It was sad at the end, I got quite teary and I think it was quite well done, though I noticed that the movie glossed over some things mentioned in the book, which probably happens with most films based on books, I don't normally read the book before the film but in this instance, I had. Good movie

Yeah, the book is quite long, so its not surprising some parts aren't in the movie. It was quite long as it was at nearly 2 hours long... just normally I haven't read the original book before seeing a film adaptation so it was a change to watch the movie and know what things they'd left out...

Yes, but I don't see where Marley And Me is any longer than any other book that's been adapted to the screen. I don't think there's any way one can squeeze all the material in a book into a single movie. And, like I said, not even a mini-series can do justice for most books.

Marley and Me premieres on HBO Sat, Oct 10. I totally forgot about that fab little website, tvnow. You can put in any stars name and find out when they are on tv for the upcoming week. www.tv-now.com/stars/owwilson.html

I just decided to watch M&M. I had only seen the first half... anyway, there is a part where they show John's parents in the car for only a split second. I have only seen Laura Wilson in 2 photographs that were not very large, but I swear I think that Laura and Bob play the parents in this movie.
Anyone else notice this, or has this been talked about already?
