I finally saw DT today. I really liked the beginning of the movie. i thought that the kids were hilarious and the introduction of their families. Owen was really charming (ofcourse)! all and all i think that the movie was a little bit too long but i got good laughs out of it Once again i also took notice how much i love Owen´s voice.

I finally saw this movie... Owen was great in this! And hot!!!! But the pacing of this movie was gaping at times. Danny McBride - amazing as always!!! All the Real Girls is one of my favorite movies. I love that his career has taken off. It was great to catch a glimpse of Uncle Joe! It was VERY cool that Bob Musgrave had such a big role! I loved his hip hop jogging suit!!!! And what a nice surprise that Luke's assistant, Waldo (Matthew) was in this too!

I FINALLY saw the movie!!! I LURVE ITT!!!
The opening sequence, love the reaction of the ladies on the beach - do you think it was a case of uhhh..."art imitating life"? #bounce#
But for me, the most amusing part was reading the name EDMOND DANTES under "story by". The Count Of Monte Cristo is one of my favourite books ;D

Hi! I am new, but I have loved Owen a long time, since I first saw Zoolander. I loved Drillbit Taylor!! I thought it was so cute & funny!! I esp. love the scene that was deleted...the one where he has the bad student in detention! I love when Owen gets nasty, and he really gets mad in that scene, but it's cute, because he's still in comedic mode. I loved that movie so much, I bought it!! He's soooo cute in it!!

#welcome# Owensplaything! Glad you've joined us.
Aw, I can't see deleted scenes on my dvd copy. Too bad, that sounds like a good one. I should bring my dvd to my girlfriend's house and see if I can watch the extras on her TV.

Thank you for the welcome! I am happy to be here! If you get a chance, you should check out those deleted scenes, they are pretty good. But of course, I think Owen in anything is pretty good, so I'm biased!

thanks for reminding me to post, Rach - I keep meaning to say I saw it recently too. It was silly, funny, I enjoyed it but it's unlikely to become a favourite movie. I did think Owen looked good in it though! Random: I've read a lot of comments and reviews in various places of people thinking Owen was "off" in it, or looked tense or whatever, and can't help wondering how many people's perceptions were coloured by... well, by what was going on around the time it was released. Having seen it I was honestly surprised how many reviewers seemed to go along along the "well he was so obviously having problems when he shot this..." route. Anyway, sorry for the random musing. For my part, I thought he was funny, cute, had some hilarious expressions and "looks" that made several slightly lame jokes work much better than the writers deserved, and was just, well... gloriously Owenish in it. edit: Oh, SP, I wondered the same about art imitating life... and I absolutely when the girl cycling along the beach fell off her bicycle on, erm, encountering a showering Drillbit
