It might be on the USA Today site... I have no idea, I haven't checked! I read the paper this morning at 7:30 AM and couldn't wait to post about it ( ), but I didn't get to a computer until I posted the above message.

Kevdo! Three quarters of a USA Today page! Very impressive. I am also very impressed that you are now considered a source of authority regarding the Frat Pack! I am not sure that I agree that Luke is bland though. I did like the comparisons to Marx Bros and Three Stooges.

Yep... In his comparison to Zeppo Marx (which I appreciated) - Here are some other quotes regarding Luke: Why do I feel like Kevin is referencing us in that last quote?

Phew! so I guess I can put the whip and thumbscrews away? I know I'm in the minority here but I LOVE that he's doing Dallas. "Luke does Dallas", could be a whole 'nuther film all together!

Well I don't know Furg. I appreciated why they compared Luke to Zeppo - but Luke is no Zeppo. I appreciated it because Zeppo was always characterized as the good looking brother. ;D But he does play a larger role in the Frat Pack than Zeppo played in the Marx Bros films. Heck he played a very large role in Old School. And I don,t think he's "bland". Definitely the straight man (with Wendell Baker being an exception) but not bland. Playing the reaction guy is not as easy as it seems... in my opinion.

Sorry for not jumping into the conversation until now. Yes, thanks for the kind words -- very cool article and even better in the print edition where the chart was gigantic!!!
Now that I'm a "big celebrity" autographed copies are going for $25 each ;-)
We mentioned on Friday's podcast that my comments about what the fans think was a composite of what folks are talking about on the various forums, so THANK YOU very much!! I was pleased they printed the quote about Dallas, as well as the Will Ferrell Oscar buzz (because by saying there is Oscar buzz... I am creating Oscar Buzz!!).
I was on the phone for nearly an hour with the reporter so it was nice to get more than just a single quote out of this. BTW - that whole Three Stooges/Marx Brothers thing was something that I was NOT involved with.
I agree that Luke is not bland (though he is in comparison to the rest of the crazy Fratters). He definitely was edgy in Old School.
I hope you guys are okay with my comments about Owen. When we did the Top 5 Frat Pack performances you Wilson fans really hit hard with your support for Owen in Bottle Rocket but it was not mentioned by hardly anyone else on the other boards or people coming in from my website. I was tying to be positive about things by kind of implying that he's got the most passionate fans.
Anyway, this was very cool. The interview was actually a few weeks ago so I've been dying to see the article (the reporter did note that it probably wouldn't come out until Dupree was opening).
Now, it's off to see Dupree tonight!! Would love to hear from you and what you throught of the movie -- drop us a line at 206-666-FRAT.
