After reading my "bump" post, I think I need to re-phrase. I will be looking for MORE than a "bump". A bump would be a bit of a letdown. Something serpent-like would be encouraging, but I don't think the director would allow that. So I guess I will be looking for a bumpy serpent?

Nah Maisy- You were right the first time...When I think of bumps, I think of those mountains of concrete in shopping mall parking lots. You know, the kind that make you hit the brakes and leaves your muffler dragging behind your vehicle...
Well- This "bump" tends to stall us girls dead in our tracks, park it in the steamy sauna online, and leaves our tongues dragging around the boards in amazement.

I just saw this on google news: Freeman visits The Early Show on Friday to talk about the film The Big Bounce, which is based on the novel by crime writer Elmore Leonard (“Get Shorty,” “Out Of Sight,” “Jackie Brown”) I don't get to see this cos I'm in New Zealand but if anyone does can you post on the board what he has to say, especially if he has anything to say about Owen!! I hope Owen will do some interviews too

There are clips from The Big Bounce up on Yahoo.com Movies ;D Click Here to see themOwen is in 7 out of the 8. They don't seem to be on the official site as yet as far as I could tell they are still just offering the trailer. The media window on Yahoo is quite small but if you position your mouse on the player window and right click on your mouse it will give you the option of playing it in your own real media player or Windows media player and you can then use the settings on there to make it bigger if you like The clips are little bits of the movie and unlike the trailer have more dialogue and will give you a much better idea of the script and acting. Er and the last one is from the scene where Owen is in nothing but a towel... ummm but I know your really more interested in the script and the acting. Right girls

Thanks Polly! I don't know if I could show such restraint if it were me instead of SF sitting next to Owen in nothing but a towel.

It's still a month away for me down here in New Zealand. It opens on Feb 26th I'd really appreciate it if any of you who are in the US or Canada and will be seeing it on Jan 30th or soon after, could come on and lemme know what you think. I'm going to have to live vicariously for 3 and a half weeks

Thanks Linn You're the best! And I want to know everything!! I can't decide what I need to know most - whether there is a "bump" visible in any of the bedroom scenes or whether it is a bad movieor not. Hmmm probably the bump info is more critical. Ok your mission should you choose to accept it is "bump" patrol

It is with great privaledge (sp?) and honor that I accept this mission. I patrol not only for myself, but for those I love, and above all, I patrol for this board.

When she says, "But I didn't shoot you", I cringe.

Loved your last post Fallingleaves... They probably got Sara for a song or a drink at the local bar. After paying out salaries for the other "name" actors, they had to use the bar strategy-
The producer rightly figured the women would all be looking at Owen and not paying attention to her anyway and knowing guys, well... they figure if she looks good in a swimsuit- WHO CARES about what comes out of her mouth, as long as it's her tongue in those risque scenes!

I know Owen has said before that in order for him to be good he has to have good people to bounce off. If Sara Foster is terrible, that can explain why Owen seems to be flat, whereas we know Morgan Freeman is great.

Hey FL you really hit the nail on the head! and HT I can only hope they did get her for the equivalent price of a pint of Guiness and a pack of crisps. In the boxing ring clip she is not only bad she is please shut-up and go away bad. I was watching that with 1 eye open to see Owen and 1 eye closed and my hands over both ears whilst chanting please make it stop, please make it stop The "but I didn't shoot you" line not only makes me cringe but brings me out in a rash. I think I might be allergic to Sara Foster's acting reciting stuff on screen

Please Poll- Let's not waste good Guinness when all she really qualifies for is a single tap of rotgut "light" beer. Definitely a peroxide blond variety-
