I have thoroughly enjoyed the connection between the Wilsons and country artist Billy Joe Shaver and I thank our own Librarian for this. It is expressed in their family stated appreciation of his music, support of his career and this particular find (note the photo credit): www.billyjoeshaver.com/For fellow or future Billy Joe's fans- enjoy the music of his most recent video online, click on "Live Forever:" www.cmt.com/artists/az/shaver_billy_joe/artist.jhtml I cannot get enough of it. The intrinsic message of black and white against color, the B/W horse and rider moving out of the colorful churchyard allows the viewer to understand a life and death purview. The amazing life-insight of a wonderful and amazing artist triumphing over the current rising age of celebrity... Lib- You were truly fortunate to meet and actually speak to this amazing man. That's a very cool find, HT. BJS is a great songwriter and that Laura Wilson portrait is great! If any of you have a chance to catch the documentary about BJS -- do! It is amazing. Click here. Thanks TexasGal - I'll have to check out that interview.
