hi all Do you think this pic is by Laura Wilson? I think it might be there was nothing on the fortune City Jackie Chan site to say either way. But I know she did take at least one other b&w still for Shanghai Noon. What do you gals think? I think it's a great pic and it really seems to be her style

It is a cute picture isn't it Laura Wilson has published several books here is a little bio featured on the Boyd Gallery site which sells her work Laura Wilson, mother of famous sons, Andrew, Owen, and Luke, has shared their meteoric rise to success first as the young assistant to Richard Avedon during the production of An American West, followed by her own career as a international photo journalist (The New Yorker, The Washington Post Magazine and London's Sunday Times Magazine). In 1989, Wilson's first photography book, Watt Matthews of Lambshead was published and called "a classic of Texas history". Her most recent book, Hutterites of Montana (Fall 2000) was the recipient of the Carr P. Collins Book of the Year Award, Texas Institute of Letters 2001 and winner of the Golden Light Book of the Year Award, Maine Photographic Workshops 2001. Prints and books from Hutterites of Montana will be available to order through the gallery. Her Making Movies images document the life behind the camera and offers viewers rare, intimate portraits of Anjelica Huston, Gene Hackman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bill Murray and Ben Stiller on the set of The Royal Tennebaums . In addition to Making Movies, Wilson is currently working on several projects. Six Man Football in the small, isolated communities of West Texas and Richard Avedon at Work in the American West, which documents the six years Wilson spent working with the famed photographer as his assistant. She also wrote the text for In the American West which ultimately covered 189 cities and towns, 17 states and included photographing 752 people. Both of the above books have now been released. The first is titled Grit and Glory:Six man football and the other, just released this month is as above, Avedon at work in the American West. I am really looking forward to her Making Movies book! ;D
